Ինչպես 1920-ին, այնպես էլ 2020-ին Ադրբեջանը ձգտում էր ոչնչացնել Շուշիի և ամբողջ Արցախի հայ բնակչությանը, ջնջել նրա պատմությունը. այդ ռազմավարությանը նա հավատարիմ է ցայսօր. Արցախի ԱԳՆ
POLITICSԱրցախի Հանրապետության ԱԳՆ հայտարարություն է տարածել Շուշիի հայ բնակչության ջարդերի 102-րդ տարելիցի կապակցությամբ, որը ներկայացնում ենք ստորև.
«Այսօր մենք գլուխ ենք խոնարհում Շուշի քաղաքի հայ բնակչության զանգվածային ջարդերի անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակի առջև։ Ջարդերն իրականացվել են նորաստեղծ Ադրբեջանական Դեմոկրատական Հանրապետության իշխանությունների կողմից 102 տարի առաջ՝ 1920 թ․ մարտի 22-26-ը։ Ադրբեջանի ծավալապաշտական նկրտումներով դրդված այդ հրեշավոր հանցագործության զոհը դարձան տասնյակ հազարավոր մարդիկ, որոնցից շատերը դաժանաբար սպանվեցին, իսկ ողջ մնացածներն արտաքսվեցին իրենց տներից։ Արցախի մայրաքաղաքը և պատմամշակութային կենտրոնը հանդիսացող Շուշիի մեծ մասն ամբողջովին ավերվեց և ավերակների մեջ մնաց մինչև 20-րդ դարի կեսերը, երբ հիմնովին քանդվեց ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների կողմից։
Շուշիի կոտորածը, որին ակտիվ մասնակցություն են ունեցել թուրք սպաներն ու էմիսարները, պանթուրքական գաղափարախոսության իրականացման համատեքստում հայերի ցեղասպանությունը Արևելյան Հայաստան տեղափոխելու հերթական փորձն էր։
Իր դաժանությամբ սահմռկեցնող այս ողբերգությունը ցույց տվեց ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների իրական նպատակները Արցախի և հայ ժողովրդի նկատմամբ։ Այն ոչ միայն փոխեց Շուշիի ժողովրդագրությունը, այլև անջնջելի հետք թողեց քաղաքի մթնոլորտի վրա և կանխորոշեց հետագա գործընթացները։
Գրեթե 70 տարի անց ադրբեջանական իշխանությունները կրկին դիմեցին իրենց զինանոցի փորձված գործիքին՝ անմեղ հայ բնակչության կոտորածին և տեղահանությանը՝ զանգվածային սպանություններ և ջարդեր կազմակերպելով Սումգայիթում, Բաքվում, Գանձակում (Կիրովաբադ) և նախկին Ադրբեջանական ԽՍՀ այլ բնակավայրերում։
2020 թվականին ողբերգությունը նորից կրկնվեց։ Արցախի Հանրապետության դեմ սանձազերծված 44-օրյա ագրեսիայի ընթացքում Ադրբեջանը օկուպացրեց Շուշին, ինչը հանգեցրեց քաղաքի հայաթափմանը։
Ինչպես 1920 թվականին, այնպես էլ 2020 թ․-ին Ադրբեջանը ձգտում էր ոչ միայն ոչնչացնել Շուշի քաղաքի և ամբողջ Արցախի հայ բնակչությանը, այլ նաև ջնջել նրա պատմությունը, մշակույթն ու ոգին։ Իր որդեգրած այդ ռազմավարությանը Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է հավատարիմ մնալ ցայսօր։
Այնուամենայնիվ, անհնար է ոչնչացնել Շուշիի հայկական ոգին, որն անքակտելիորեն կապված է Արցախի հետ։ Այն վերածնվել է 1992 թվականի մայիսին և կվերածնվի կրկին»։
