Կիևում CNN-ի լրագրողական թիմերը հաղորդել են, որ շաբաթ վաղ առավոտյան պայթյուններ են լսվել, իսկ գլխավոր միջազգային թղթակից Կլարիսա Ուորդը նկարագրել է «անդադար համազարկ», որը շարունակվել է մի քանի րոպե: Պարզ չէ՝ պայթյունները ռուսական, թե ուկրաինական հարվածներ են եղել, ասել է նա։

Ուկրաինայի մայրաքաղաքի արվարձաններում մարտերը շարունակվում են: Քաղաքի վարչակազմը նշել է, որ հյուսիսում գտնվող տարածքները մնում են ամենավտանգավորը, ներառյալ Բուչա, Իրպին և Հոստոմել արվարձանները, ինչպես նաև Կիևից ավելի հյուսիս գտնվող Վիշորոդ թաղամասը: Մարտերը սրվել են նաև Բրովարիում, Դնեպր գետի մյուս կողմում, քաղաքից արևելք ընկած հատվածում:

«Քանի որ ռուսական ուժերը ճնշում են գործադրում մի քանի ուղղություններից, աճում է մտահոգությունն առ այն, որ նպատակը քաղաքն ամբողջությամբ շրջապատելն է, քաղաքը սովին մատնելը, քաղաքը ռմբակոծելը և այնուհետև, ի վերջո, փորձել տապալել (Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր) Զելենսկու կառավարությունը», - ասել է Ուորդը:

Կիևի քաղաքապետ Վիտալի Կլիչկոն CNN-ին ասել է, որ քաղաքը ներկայում ունի ռեսուրսներ, ներառյալ սննդամթերք և բժշկական պարագաներ, միայն մեկից երկու շաբաթվա համար:

Հիշեցնենք, որ փետրվարի 24-ի առավոտյան ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը հայտարարել էր Ուկրաինայի ապառազմականացման համար հատուկ ռազմական գործողություն սկսելու մասին:

Հեռուստաուղերձում նա ասել էր, որ հանգամանքները «մեզնից պահանջում են վճռական և անհապաղ գործողություններ, Դոնբասի ժողովրդական հանրապետությունները օգնության խնդրանքով դիմել են Ռուսաստանին»:

Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարի խոսքով, արյունահեղության ողջ պատասխանատվությունը կլինի Ուկրաինայում իշխող ռեժիմի խղճի վրա։ Նա ուկրաինացի զինվորականներին կոչ է արել չկատարել ուկրաինական իշխանությունների հանցավոր հրամանները, վայր դնել զենքերն ու գնալ տուն:
