Գինեգործությունը տեղափոխվում է լեռներ. ծովի մակերևույթից 2080 մետր բարձրության վրա՝ Սմբատաբերդի և Ցախաց քարի հարևանությամբ, գտնվում է «Մարան» ընկերության օրգանիկ խաղողի այգին։

«Մարանն» անկախ Հայաստանի առաջին գինի արտադրող մասնավոր ընկերությունն է, իսկ այժմ առաջամարտիկներից է օրգանական գինեգործության մեջ:

«Մարան» ընկերության հիմնադիր Ավագ Հարությունյանը, երբ որդիների հետ հիմնում էր օրգանիկ այգին, գիտեր, որ ծախսերն ավելի մեծ են լինելու, դժվարությունները՝ շատ. պետք են վստահելի գործընկերներ, ովքեր միասին կանցնեին ամբողջ ճանապարհը։

«Մարանը» մասնակցեց Ակբա բանկի և Գերմանիայի բնության պահպանության միության (NABU) համատեղ իրականացվող «Օրգանական գյուղատնտեսության զարգացման» ծրագրին և ստացավ օրգանական գինի արտադրողի սերտիֆիկատ:

«Երբ տնկում էինք այս այգին, այն գլխից էլ հասկանում էինք, որ մեծ ծանրության տակ ենք մտնում: Երկար պետք է աճեցնես, որ հետո բերք ունենաս: Եթե չլիներ այն աջակցությունը, որ տրվեց Ակբա բանկի ու NABU-ի կողմից, դժվար կարողանայինք դուրս գալ այս իրավիճակից: Այգին տնկել ենք ձեռք չտալով ոչ մի թփի ու քարի։ Փորձել ենք ձեռք չտալ լանդշաֆտին։ Առողջ, գեղեցիկ ու որակյալ բերքի աճեցման համար օգտագործել ենք միայն օրգանական նյութեր»,– նշում է «Մարան» ընկերության հիմնադիր Ավագ Հարությունյանը:

«Մարանն» այժմ արտահանվում է տասից ավելի երկրներ՝ Ավստրալիա, Թայվան, Չինաստան, Չեխիա, Լեհաստան, Նիդերլանդներ, Ֆրանսիա, ԱՄՆ և այլ երկրներ։
