Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիան մտադրություն ունի հրաժեշտի խաղ կազմակերպել ազգային թիմի արդեն նախկին ֆուտբոլիստ Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանի համար:

«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ՀՖՖ-ից հայտնեցին, որ ֆեդերացիան ցանկություն ունի հրաժեշտի խաղ կազմակերպել Հայաստանի բոլոր ժամանակների լավագույն ֆուտբոլիստներից մեկի` Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանի համար, սակայն ժամկետների հետ կապված դեռևս ոչ մի հստակություն չկա:

  Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ազգային հավաքականի ավագ Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը հայտնել է հավաքականում իր ելույթներն ավարտելու մասին:

« Իմ ֆուտբոլային սկիզբը կերտվել է Հայաստանում՝ իմ հայրենիքում, և ես հավերժ երախտապարտ կլինեմ բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր աջակցել են ինձ, ովքեր մարզել ու կրթել են ինձ, ում հետ ես խաղացել եմ և վերջապես յուրաքանչյուրին, ով նպաստել է իմ՝ որպես ֆուտբոլիստ և որպես մարդ, կայացմանը։ Հաջողություններ իմ ազգային հավաքականին: Ընդմիշտ ձեր՝ Հենո»,- ասված է՝ Մխիթարյանի հայտարարության մեջ:

Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը Հայաստանի բոլոր ժամանակների լավագույն ռմբարկուն է: Նրա դեբյուտը հավաքականում կայացել է 2007 թվականի հունվարին: Մխիթարյանը հանդես է եկել Եվրոպայի լավագույն լիգաներում: Նա եղել է «Արսենալի» և «Մանչեսթեր Յունայթեդի» (2016-2018) ֆուտբոլիստ: Նա 2017 թվականի «Մանչեսթեր Յունայթեդ»-ի կազմում Եվրոպայի լիգայի եզրափակիչում գոլի է խփել՝ դրանով իսկ դառնալով եվրոպական խոշոր գավաթ նվաճած առաջին հայ ֆուտբոլիստը։
