ՀՀ 5-րդ նախագահի կենսագրությունը
POLITICSՎահագն Խաչատուրյանը երկրորդ փուլով ընտրվեց ՀՀ նախագահի պաշտոնում։ Քվեարկությանը մասնակցել է Ազգային ժողովի 71 պատգամավոր, «կողմ» է քվեարկել 71, «դեմ»՝ 0 պատգամավոր։ Անվավեր քվեաթերթիկներ չեն եղել։
Իրավաբան․net-ը հայտնում է, որ Հանրապետության նախագահ է ընտրվում այն թեկնածուն, որը ստացել է պատգամավորների ընդհանուր թվի ձայների առնվազն երեք քառորդը: Եթե Հանրապետության նախագահ չի ընտրվում, ապա անցկացվում է ընտրության երկրորդ փուլ, որին կարող են մասնակցել առաջին փուլին մասնակցած բոլոր թեկնածուները: Առաջին փուլում Խաչատուրյանը չընտրվեց։
Երկրորդ փուլում Հանրապետության նախագահ է ընտրվում այն թեկնածուն, որն ստացել է պատգամավորների ընդհանուր թվի ձայների առնվազն երեք հինգերորդը: Եթե Հանրապետության նախագահ չի ընտրվում, ապա անցկացվում է ընտրության երրորդ փուլ, որին կարող են մասնակցել երկրորդ փուլում առավել ձայներ ստացած երկու թեկնածուները: Երրորդ փուլում Հանրապետության նախագահ է ընտրվում այն թեկնածուն, որն ստանում է պատգամավորների ընդհանուր թվի ձայների մեծամասնությունը:
Արտահերթ ընտրության միջոցով ընտրված Հանրապետության նախագահը պաշտոնը ստանձնում է ընտրվելուց հետո՝ տասներորդ օրը, որը տեղի է ունենում ԱԺ հատուկ նիստում։
