Անկարան չի ճանաչում «Ուկրաինայի ինքնիշխանությանն ու տարածքային ամբողջականությանը հակասող քայլերը»։ Այդ մասին Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ հեռախոսազրույցի ժամանակ նշել է Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը:

Նա կոչ է արել խնդիրը լուծել դիվանագիտական ճանապարհով՝ ընդգծելով, որ «Թուրքիան ՆԱՏՕ-ի ներսում էլ կառուցողական դիրքորոշում է որդեգրել»: Էրդողանը հիշեցրել է, որ թուրքական կողմն ամենակարճ ժամանակահատվածում սպասում է Պուտինի այցին:

Էրդողանը հեռախոսազրույց է ունեցել նաև Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վոլոդիմիր Զելենսկու հետ և կոչ արել կարգավորել իրավիճակը՝ Մինսկի պայմանավորվածությունների հիման վրա։

«Թուրքիան աջակցում է Ուկրաինայի՝ իր տարածքային ամբողջականությունը պաշտպանելուն ուղղված գործողություններին»,- շեշտել է Էրդողանը։

Ավելի վաղ Թուրքիայում Ուկրաինայի դեսպանությունն Անկարայից պահանջել էր Ռուսաստանի համար փակել Դարդանելի նեղուցը և արգելափակել ռուսական ակտիվները:
