Քրիստոնյաների սպանությունները, ինչպես նաեւ եզդիների նկատմամբ հաշվեհարդարները, ԱՄՆ-ի վարչակազմը պետք է ճանաչի «Իսլամական պետություն» ծայրահեղական խմբավորման կողմից ցեղասպանության ակտեր: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, Սպիտակ տանն ուղղված այս կոչով հանդես է եկել 30 օրենսդիրներից բաղկացած խումբը՝ ԱՄՆ-ի Կոնգրեսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի արտաքին գործերի կոմիտեի նախագահ հանրապետական Էդ Ռոյսի գլխավորությամբ: Համապատասխան նամակը պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերիին է ուղարկվել դեկտեմբերի 23-ին:

«Մենք խիստ անհանգստացած ենք մամուլում տեղ գտած այն հաղորդագրություններից, որ վարչակազմը պատրաստվում է հայտարարել ԻՊ-ի կողմից բացառապես եզդիների նկատմամբ ցեղասպանության դեպքերի մասին՝ ընդսմին չհայտարարելով, որ ԴԱԻՇ-ը ցեղասպանություն է իրականացնում նաեւ քրիստոնյաների եւ մյուս փոքրամասնությունների նկատմամբ, որոնց նա ոչնչացնում է»,- ասված է ուղերձի տեսքտում: Դրա հեղինակները նաեւ հորդորել են գործադիր իշխանությանը՝ այդ հարցի շուրջ կոնսուլտացիաներ անցկացնել Կոնգրեսի հետ:

Hill ցանցային հրատարակությունն իր հերթին հիշեցնում է, որ նոյեմբերին ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղարի օգնական Էնն Փաթերսոնը կոմիտեին հայտնել է, որ վարչակազմը իսլամիստների կողմից եզդիների սպանությունները շուտով կճանաչի ցեղասպանության ակտեր: Դա ԱՄՆ-ին օրինական հիմքեր կտա ավելի մեծ ջանքեր գործադրել կրոնական խմբերի պաշտպանության համար, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
