Արցախյան շարժման 34-րդ տարեդարձին նվիրված միջոցառումների կազմակերպման պետական հանձնաժողովը նախատեսել էր փետրվարի 20-ին Ստեփանակերտի Վերածննդի հրապարակում մեծ հանրահավաք կազմակերպել։ Սակայն երեկ պարզ դարձավ, որ Արցախի նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանն արգելել է վերը նշված հավաքն անցկացնել: Ըստ մեր տեղեկությունների, արգելքի պատճառը եղել է այն, որ Արայիկ Հարությունյանը վախեցել է, որ հավաքը կվերածվի իր հրաժարականի պահանջով շարժման:
Մեր տեղեկություններով, նախօրեին նույնիսկ պայմանավորվածություն էր ձեռք բերվել, որպեսզի հանրահավաքը կազմակերպվի հասարակական կազմակերպությունների մակարդակով, ու քաղաքական որեւէ ուժ չմիջամտի հանրահավաքի կամակերպմանն ու անցկացմանը, եւ քաղաքական ելույթներ չպետք է լինեին: Սակայն, ըստ ամենայնի, Արայիկ Հարությունյանին նույնիսկ դա չի հանգստացրել, եւ արցախյան ազատագրական շարժման տարեդարձի հիշատակին նվիրված հանրահավաքը վերջինս անձամբ արգելել է: Երեկ երեկոյան հանձնաժողովը նիստ է արել, հարցը բուռն քննարկվել է, սակայն մնացել է առկախված, դեռեւս վերջնական որոշում չի կայացվել։ Հավաքն արգելելու պաշտոնական պատճառաբանությունը կորոնավիրուսով վարակվածության դեպքերի աճն է, սակայն փետրվարի 10-ից հետո թվերն անգամ նվազել են։
