Բեթհեղեմը Սուրբ ծնունդը դիմավորել է Մերձավոր Արեւելքից փախստականների համար աղոթքով

Երուսաղեմի կաթոլիկ պատրիարք Ֆուադ Տուալը Սուրբ ծնունդի գիշերը պաղեստինյան Բեթղեհեմից դիմել է միջազգային հանրությանը՝ հորդորելով հանդես բերել գթասիրություն եւ դռները բացել Մերձավոր Արեւելքից միլիոնավոր փախստականների առջեւ, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
Կեսգիշերային պատարագի ընթացքում Տուալը հիշել է անցնող տարվա իրադարձությունները, որը տարածաշրջանում մթագնվեց պատերազմներով ու զանգվածային գաղթերով, իսկ Սուրբ հողում պաղեստինա-իսրայելական հակամարտության բռնկմամբ, որը երեք ամսվա ընթացքում երկուստեք 150 մարդու կյանք է խլել:
«Մեր սրտերը միլիոնավոր փախստականների հետ են, որոնք պատսպարան են գտել ճամբարներում ու հետնախորշերում, նրանց հետ, ովքեր փախչում են հակամարտությունների գոտիներից»,- ասել է պատրիարքը:
«Մենք մտածում ենք ահաբեկչության բոլոր ձեւերի զոհերի մասին: կարեւոր չէ՝ ովքեր են նրանք եւ ինչ ցեղից են, բոլոր այդ մարդիկ մեր եղբայրներն ու քույրերն են… Թող որ նրանց ցավի ճիչերը դառնան մերը, եւ մենք կոտրենք անտարբերության պատնեշները»,- ասել է Տուալը: Իր քարոզում նա արծարծել է անցնող տարվա գլխավոր թեմաներից մեկը՝ Սիրիայից, Լիբիայից եւ Մերձավոր Արեւելքի պատերազմող մյուս երկրներից փախստականների հիմնախնդիրը:
«Մենք շնորհակալ ենք այն երկրներին, որոնք իրենց դռները բացեցին եւ ընդունեցին փախստականներին: Մենք հորդորում ենք նրանց, ովքեր տատանվում են, հաղթահարել փախստականների հանդեպ ունեցած վախերը եւ ապաստա տալ նրանց այնքան ժամանակ, քանի դեռ իրադրությունը չի նորմալացել»,- ասել է պատրիարքը, հաղորդել է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
