Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդունել է Հարավային Կովկասի ու Վրաստանի ճգնաժամի հարցերով ԵՄ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Տոյվո Կլաարին: Հանդիպմանը ներկա է եղել նաև Հայաստանում Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Անդրեա Վիկտորինը:

Վարչապետի աշխատակազմից NEWS.am-ին հայտնում են, որ Վարչապետը կարևորել է Հայաստան-Եվրոպական միություն հարաբերությունների շարունակական զարգացումը և կարևորել այդ ուղղությամբ համատեղ ջանքերը: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդգծել է, որ ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումների օրակարգը շարունակում է մնալ ՀՀ կառավարության առաջնահերթությունների թվում և հավելել, որ ՀՀ իշխանությունների նվիրվածությունը ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումների գործընթացին անբեկանելի է: Զրուցակիցները քննարկել են ԵՄ-ի կողմից Հայաստանի համար նախատեսված 2,6 մլրդ եվրոյի ներդրումային փաթեթի իրականացման ուղղությամբ աշխատանքների ընթացքին վերաբերող հարցեր: Այդ համատեքստում, առանձնակի կարևորվել է Սյունիքի մարզում 80 մլն եվրոյի փաթեթի արդյունավետ կյանքի կոչումը:    

Վարչապետը բարձր է գնահատել Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Շառլ Միշելի ջանքերը՝ տարածաշրջանում փոխըմբռնման ու կայունության ամրապնդման ուղղությամբ:

Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է կատարվել 44-օրյա պատերազմի հետևանքով Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանում ստեղծված իրավիճակին, հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին իրավիճակի լիցքաթափմանն ու կայունության ապահովմանն ուղղված քայլերին: Մասնավորապես, մտքեր են փոխանակվել Սոչիում ՌԴ նախագահի, Բրյուսելում Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահի ու Ֆրանսիայի նախագահի միջնորդությամբ կայացած հանդիպումների, ինչպես նաև փետրվարի 4-ին տեղի ունեցած քառակողմ տեսակոնֆերանսի արդյունքների ու ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունների իրականացման վերաբերյալ:

Կարևորվել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության գոտի ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի առաքելության ու միջազգային մարդասիրական կազմակերպությունների մուտքի ապահովումը՝ հաշվի առնելով հայկական մշակութային ժառանգության նկատմամբ ադրբեջանական կողմից հնչեցվող սպառնալից հայտարարություններն ու արդեն իսկ հայկական մի շարք կոթողների ոչնչացման ուղղությամբ իրականացված քայլերը: 

Ընդգծվել է նաև Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության տևական կարգավորման ուղղությամբ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության հովանու ներքո խաղաղ գործընթացի լիարժեք գործարկման և համանախագահների գործունեության ակտիվացման անհրաժեշտությունը:
