Բելառուսի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոն նախօրեին ասել է, թե Բելառուսի և Ռուսաստանի Միութենական պետությանը կարող են միանալ հետխորհրդային տարածության նաև այլ հանրապետություններ, «մեծ հավանականությամբ՝ նաև Հայաստանը»: Ավելին, Լուկաշենկոն հավելել է, թե Հայաստանը ոչ մի տեղ չունի գնալու և ոչ մեկին պետք չէ:

Ընդհանրապես, նման հայտարարությունները հենց այնպես չեն արվում: Իրականում, մեր ունեցած տեղեկություններով, ՀՀ իշխանական կուլիսներում բավական ակտիվ քննարկվում է Միութենական պետության հետ կապված թեման։ Իշխանություններն ակտիվ նախապատրաստական աշխատանքներ են իրականացնում այդ առումով, ավելին՝ արդեն մի քանի հանդիպումներ են եղել, որտեղ կողմերը հանգամանալից քննարկել են խորքային հիմնահարցեր։ Մեր աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ, նախնական պայմանավորվածության համաձայն, նախատեսված է մինչև 2024 թվականը վերջնական տարբերակ մշակել և այն մեկ ամբողջական փաթեթով ներկայացնել խորհրդարանի քննարկմանն ու վավերացմանը։ Այս առիթով ռուսական շրջանակներից պարբերաբար «էմիսարներ» են ժամանում Երևան և հանդիպումներ ունենում ոչ հակառուս քաղաքական տարբեր շրջանակների հետ:

Մենք տեղեկություններ ունենք, որ այդ հանդիպումների ժամանակ քննարկվում են Միութենական պետության հետ կապված ամենափոքր դետալներն անգամ, ընդ որում՝ նաև տեղեկատվական հոսքերի հետ կապված, որոնք միտված են լինելու Միութենական պետության հետ կապված հասարակական տրամադրությունները ուսումնասիրելու և կշեռքի նժարը դեպի դրականը թեքելու առումով։ Մեր տեղեկություններով, ռուսական կողմը լիահույս է, որ թեմայի հետ կապված արհեստական խոչընդոտներ չեն առաջանա, քանի որ նախնական տարբերակով արդեն իսկ կա կոնսենսուսային պայմանավորվածություն։
