Հրազդան խոշորացված համայնքի ղեկավար Սևակ Միքայելյանը իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրում է.

Հիսուս Քրիստոսի արձանի՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության բարձրադիր վայրերից մեկում տեղադրելու Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի նախաձեռնությունը հասարակության շրջանում լայն տարածում գտավ. հնչեցին ինչպես դրական, այնպես էլ` բացասական կարծիքներ:
Լինելով աշխարհում առաջինը Քրիստոնեություն ընդունած պետություն` արձանի կառուցումը Քրիստոնեության հանդեպ ունեցած մեր հավատն ամրապնդելու և մեր հոգևոր վերածննդին սկիզբ դնելու առաքելություն կարելի է համարել:
 
Թերևս ամենատարածված քննադատությունը արձանի փոխարեն բանակին օգնելն էր:
Համամիտ եմ` բանակը ամենաառաջնային դերում է, և վստահ եմ, որ հզոր բանակի գրավականներից մեկն էլ զարգացած տնտեսությունն է :
 
Քրիստոսի արձանի տեղադրմամբ ողջ աշխարհից մեր երկիր հազարավոր զբոսաշրջիկների հոսք կլինի, հետևաբար` զարգացում կապրի զբոսաշրջության ոլորտը, և զբոսաշրջիկների ներդրած գումարը զգալիորեն կնպաստի տնտեսության աճին:
 
Այս ամենը նպաստելու է նաև բանակաշինության և երկրի պաշտպանության գործին:
Միևնույն ժամանակ ցանկանում եմ նախաձեռնությունը քննադատողներին հիշեցնել օնլայն խաղատների (Աջարաբեթ, Վիվարո, Տոտո և նման այլ բուքմեյքերական խաղեր) և դրանց վրա վատնվող մեծ գումարների մասին:
 
Ամեն քայլափոխին, այդ թվում՝ հանրապետության գլխավոր ճանապարհների կամուրջներին, հանդիպում ենք օնլայն խաղատների մասին գովազդների, և վստահ եմ՝ բոլորդ գիտեք, թե ինչ մեծ գումարներ են վատնվում դրանց վրա, և ինչպիսի բացասական ազդեցություն են թողնում հասարակության շրջանում:
 
Ճիշտ է՝ վերոնշյալ բուքմեյքերական ընկերությունների կողմից փակցված գովազդներից գումարներ են մուտք լինում պետբյուջե, սակայն բուքմեյքերական ընկերություններն իրենց բացասական հետևանքներն են ունենում անչափահասների շրջանում և քայքայում են հազարավոր ընտանիքներ:
 
Ողջունելով Հիսուս Քրիստոսի արձանի կառուցումը՝ հնարավորինս իմ աջակցությունն եմ հայտնում Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի նախաձեռնությանը:
