INTERNATIONAL NEWSՄեծ Բրիտանիան կարող է հակառուսական պատժամիջոցներ սահմանել ֆիզիկական և իրավաբանական անձանց նկատմամբ, որոնք «ռազմավարական նշանակություն» ունեն Ռուսաստանի իշխանությունների համար: Այս մասին հայտնում է «Կոմերսանտ»-ը՝ հղում անելով բրիտանական աղբյուրին:
Ըստ աղբյուրի՝ սահմանափակումները նախատեսելու են ակտիվների սառեցում և մուտքի արգելք: Բրիտանական պարբերականի աղբյուրը Մեծ Բրիտանիայի կառավարությունում ենթադրել է, որ պատժամիջոցները կարող են ազդել ռուսական էներեգետիկ ընկերությունների վրա:
Միևնույն ժամանակ նշվում է, որ ԱՄՆ Պետքարտուղարությունը մտահոգված է, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիան չի կարողանա ռուսական գումարներն օգտագործել երկրում՝ որպես ճնշման լծակ Ուկրաինայի շուրջ տիրող իրավիճակի հարցում:
Հիշեցնենք, որ նախօրեին Մեծ Բրիտանիանի ԱԳՆ ղեկավար Լիզ Թրասն ասել էր, որ «Վլադիմիր Պուտինի օլիգարխները թաքնվելու տեղ չեն ունենա» պատժամիջոցների խստացման դեպքում։ Նա նաև ասել է, որ պատժամիջոցների հնարավոր խստացումը կարող է ներառել ռուս «օլիգարխների» լոնդոնյան ունեցվածքի բռնագրավումը։
