Հայաստանում Ֆրանսիայի նախկին դեսպան Ջոնաթան Լաքոթն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում տեղեկացրել է, որ ստեղծվել է Հայաստանի ֆրանսիական ինստիտուտ։
«Ուրախ եմ, որ Հայաստանում գտնվելու չորս տարիներին նախագծել, մշակել ու «Ազնավուր» հիմնադրամի հետ իրականացրել եմ Երևանում Ֆրանսիական ինստիտուտ ստեղծելու ծրագիրը: Ապագա ինստիտուտը կտեղակայվի Երևանի Ազանվուր կենտրոնում՝ Կասկադի վերևում:
Այն հնարավորություն կտա միավորել բոլոր նրանց ծրագրերը, որոնք ավանդ ունեն երկու երկրների մշակութային հարաբերություններում, որոնք ցուցափեղկ կառաջարկեն Հայաստանում ֆրանսիական մշակույթի, լեզվի համար:
Այս ինստիտուտի համար մենք պարտական ենք բոլոր այն հայերին, որոնք սիրում են Ֆրանսիան, ուսուցիչներին, որոնք ուսուցանում են մեր լեզուն, երիտասարդներին, որոնք հետաքրքրվում են մեր մշակույթով, բոլոր նրանց, որոնք իրենց տեսնում են մեր արժեքների մեջ:
Դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատելուց 30 տարի անց նման ինստիտուտի ստեղծումը լրացնում է Հայաստանում ֆրանսիական համակարգի բացը և համապատասխանում է հայ հասարակության անկեղծ սպասումներին»,- գրել է դեսպանը:
