Ռուսաստանը տրամադրված է ԱՄՆ-ի հետ բանակցությունները շարունակելուն, ՌԴ-ն երկխոսությանն ուղղված քաղաքական կամքի պակաս երբեք չի ունեցել, սակայն անհրաժեշտ չէ գործընթացը հանուն գործընթացի, հստակ արդյունք է անհրաժեշտ: «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ այս մասին հայտարարել է ՌԴ նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դմիտրի Պեսկովը:

«Ռուսաստանում երբեք բանակցելու քաղաքական կամքի պակաս չի եղել: Ընդհակառակը, մենք բազմիցս բախվել ենք այդ բանակցությունները վարելու ցանկության բացակայության հետ: Եվ ես կասկած չունեմ, որ քաղաքական կամքի բացակայություն հետագայում էլ չի լինի, սակայն այն ըմբռնմամբ, որ սկզբունքային հարցերով չի կարող լինել գործընթաց հանուն գործընթանցի, պետք է լինի հստակ արդյունք, հստակ պատասխան»,- ասել է Պեսկովը՝ պատասխանելով հարցին, թե արդյոք իմաստ տեսնում է ԱՄՆ-ի հետ բանակցությունների շարունակման մեջ:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Բրյուսելում չորեքշաբթի կայացել է Ռուսաստան-ՆԱՏՕ խորհրդի նիստը, որը նվիրված էր անվտանգության շուրջ ՌԴ-ի առաջարկների քննարկմանը:

Դեկտեմբերի 17-ին ՌԴ ԱԳՆ-ն շրջանառության մեջ է դրել ԱՄՆ-ի և Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքի կողմից իրավական անվտանգության երաշխիքների տրամադրման վերաբերյալ ռուսական երկու փաստաթղթերի նախագիծ։ Ավելի վաղ ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը կոչ էր արել ՆԱՏՕ-ին սկսել առարկայական բանակցություններ՝ նպատակ ունենալով Ռուսաստանին ապահովել անվտանգության հուսալի և երկարաժամկետ երաշխիքներ։ Նա պարզաբանել է, որ Մոսկվային հենց իրավական երաշխիքներն են պետք, քանի որ արևմտյան գործընկերները չեն կատարել իրենց համապատասխան բանավոր պարտավորությունները։
