INTERNATIONAL NEWSԲարոնուհի Քերոլայն Քոքսն անդրադարձել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությանը Լորդերի պալատում տեղի ունեցած «Փախստականներ. Զանգվածային տեղահանումներ» խորագրով լսումների ժամանակ: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ իր ելույթում Քերոլայն Քոքսն ընդգծել է, որ համառոտ կանդրադառնա Լեռնային Ղարաբաղին, որտեղ պատմականորեն հայկական անկլավի 80%-ն այժմ օկուպացված է Ադրբեջանի կողմից:
«2020 թվականին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղից Հայաստան է փախել ավելի քան 91 000 մարդ, որոնց 88%-ը կանայք և երեխաներ էին։ Ավելի քան 40 հազար մարդ զրկվել է տներից այնպիսի տարածքներում, ինչպիսիք են Շուշիի և Հադրութի շրջանները, որոնք դեռևս գտնվում են ադրբեջանական զինուժի օկուպացիայի տակ։
Տարածաշրջան այցելելու ցավալի փորձ եմ ունեցել ավելի քան 85 անգամ՝ 1990-ականների և 2020թ․ պատերազմների ժամանակ։ Անցյալ տարվա սեպտեմբերին այցելեցի Հայաստանի Սյունիքի մարզ` ականատես լինելու համար Հայաստանի տարածք ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերի ներխուժման հետևանքով առաջացած տառապանքներին, ինչը հանգեցրեց տեղի բնակիչների տեղահանությանը հենց Հայաստանի սահմաններում։ Անթիվ փախստականները նկարագրում են հարազատների կորստի ցավը, իսկ Ադրբեջանը նախկինի պես խախտում է 2020թ․ զինադադարի պայմանները՝ ձերբակալելով հայ ռազմագերիներին և քաղաքացիական անձանց ու վայրագություններ կատարելով, երբեմն սարսափելի գործողություններ նկարահանելու համար բանտարկյալի հեռախոսը վերցնելով, իսկ հետո լուսանկարները նրանց ընտանիքներին ուղարկելով: Փախստականները նկարագրում են նաև ապրուստի միջոցների, գյուղատնտեսական հողերի, ջրային ռեսուրսների և այլ կենսական ենթակառուցվածքների կորուստը: Այնուամենայնիվ, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հայերը գրեթե ոչ մի աջակցություն չեն ստացել բրիտանական կառավարության կողմից: ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի խոսնակն անցյալ տարվա մայիսին աներկբայորեն նշեց, որ Ադրբեջանը, չնայած միջազգային հանրության, և մասնավորապես ՄԱԿ-ի կոչերին, թույլտվություն չի տվել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ հումանիտար օգնության անխոչընդոտ մուտքի համար, և այդ իրավիճակը մնում է նույնը»- ասել է Քոքսը։
Եզրափակելով խոսքը՝ Քերոլայն Քոքսը հարց է հնչեցրել՝ կարո՞ղ է կառավարությունը հաստատել, որ Միացյալ Թագավորությունը չի անտեսի օգնության այս ճիչը և կապահովի պատերազմի պատճառով տեղահանված հազարավոր հայերին հրատապ մարդասիրական օգնության տրամադրումը։ Նա հորդորել է ավելի մեծ առաջնահերթություն տալ իր կողմից մատնանշված խնդիրներին և նմանատիպ իրավիճակներում առաջացող բազմաթիվ այլ խնդիրների։
