POLITICS«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է. «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի տեղեկություններով՝ Լիլիթ Մակունցի՝ ԱՄՆ-ում դեսպան նշանակվելուց ի վեր՝ ՀՀ դեսպանությունը ԱՄՆ լոբբիստական որևէ կազմակերպության հետ պայմանագիր չի կնքել: Տեղեկացանք, որ Նահանգներում մեր դեսպանության և ամերիկյան լոբբիստական կազմակերպություններից մեկի պայմանագրի ժամկետն ավարտվել է այս տարվա մարտին, ինչից հետո նորը չի կնքվել:
Մեզ հասած տեղեկություններում՝ դեռևս օգոստոսին դեսպան նշանակված նախկին պատգամավորն ամերկկյան տարբեր կառույցների, գերատեսչությունների ու մարդկանց հետ հանդիպումներ սկսել է ունենալ նշանակումից մեկ ամիս անց միայն՝ տեսակցելով Կոնգրեսի՝ հայկական հարցերով զբաղվող հանձնախմբի անդամներին: Այնինչ, ԱՄՆ-ում հավատարմագրված ցանկացած դեսպանի համար միշտ էլ առաջնային եղել ոչ միայն հայկական հարցերով զբաղվող կոնգրեսականների, այլ նաև այն կոնգերսականների ու Վաշինգտոնում հավատարմագրված այլ պետությունների դեսպանների հետ աշխատել, հանդիպել, որոնք անգամ չեզոք կամ փոքր-ինչ հակա տրամադրություններ ունեն Ադրբեջանի ու Թուրքիայի մասով:
Պաշտոնավարումից մինչ օրս սակայն Մակունցն այլ երկրի դեսպանի հետ չի հանդիպել (համեյանդեպս՝ նման տեղեկության չենք հանդիպել): Այս ժամանակահատվածում նա հանդիպումներ չի ունեցել նաև ազդեցիկ կրոկանական կազմակերպությունների ու եկեղեցիների հետ, ինչպիսիք են, օրինակ, Ավետարանական ու Կաթոլիկ եկեղեցին»:
