Ռուսաստանի փոխարտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Ռյաբկովը Международная жизнь ամսագրին տված հարցազրույցում խոսել է այն նպատակների ու խնդիրների մասին, որոնց առջև կանգնած են ռուս բանակցողները անվտանգության երաշխիքների վերաբերյալ խորհրդակցությունների ժամանակ։
«Մենք պետք է վերջ դնենք ՆԱՏՕ-ի, նատօական ենթակառուցվածքների, նատօական կարողությունների առաջխաղացմանն դեպի արևելք: Մենք պետք է բացառենք Ուկրաինայի անդամակցումը ՆԱՏՕ-ին: Մենք պետք է երաշխավորենք մեր անվտանգությունը գոնե այն պարամետրերով և այն սահմաններով, որոնք ունեինք 1997 թվականին Ռուսաստան-ՆԱՏՕ հիմնադիր ակտի կնքման ժամանակ... Պարզապես ուզում եմ ընդգծել՝ ամերիկյան կողմը տեղյակ է մեր առաջնահերթություններին, մեր նախասիրություններին։ ԱՄՆ նախագահի ազգային անվտանգության գծով օգնական Ջեյք Սալիվանը կապի մեջ է Մոսկվայում բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների հետ»,- ասել է Ռյաբկովը։
Նրա խոսքով, վերջերս մի քանի շատ կարևոր, նշանակալից հեռախոսազրույցներ են եղել Ռուսաստանի նախագահի օգնական Յուրի Ուշակովի և Սալիվանի միջև։
«Քննարկվում են տարբեր թեմաներ։ Բայց քննարկումներից հետո խոսակցություններին պետք է հաջորդեն կոնկրետ քայլեր։ Ուստի, ինչպես նախկինում, մենք սպասում ենք ամերիկյան կողմից կոնկրետ պատասխանին, երբ նրանք պատրաստ կլինեն մեզ հետ երկխոսություն սկսել»,- ասել է դիվանագետը։
