Դեպի «Մանկական Եվրատեսիլ» Մալենայի ճանապարհը երկար էր, սակայն պատանի երգչուհին ուրախ է Հայաստանը ներկայացնել երգի միջազգային մրցույթում։
«Դա հիասաքանչ է, եւ ես շատ ուրախ եմ, որ ունեմ երկրորդ հնարավորությունը ներկայացնելու իմ երկիրը։ Ես դրան սպասել եմ յոթ տարի․․․ դա իմ երազանքն է եղել»,- Մալենայի խոսքերը մեջբերել է «Մանկական Եվրատեսիլի» պաշտոնական կայքը, որում հրապարակվել են նաեւ լուսանկարներ Փարիզում Մալենայի ունեցած առաջին փորձից։
Այսօր Մալենային ոգեշնչում է փոփ եւ R&B երաժշտությունն ամբողջ աշխարհից, սակայն երգչուհին հատկապես առանձնացնում է Ջեյդեն Սմիթին եւ Ռոսալիային՝ որպես իր ֆավորիտներ ինչպես երաժշտական ստեղծագործությունների, այնպես էլ ոճի առումով։
Մալենան ոգեշնչում ու էնեգիա է ստանում երաժշտությունից՝ թե մյուսների աշխատանքներից եւ թե հատկապես իր ստեղծագործություններից։ Երգչուհին «Քամի-քամի» երգի բառերի հեղինակներից մեկն է։ «Երբեք չէի կարծի, որ բառեր կգրեմ, որոնք մի օր կկիսեմ այսքան մեծ լսարանի հետ։ Դա մեծ պատիվ է։ Երգն ինքդ քեզ գտնելու եւ չհանձնվելու ճանապարհ գտնելու մասին է»,- նշել է նա։
«Մանկական Եվրատեսիլ 2021» երգի միջազգային մրցույթին մասնակցում է 19 երկիր։ Մրցույթը տեղի կունենա դեկտեմբերի 19-ին՝ Ֆրանսիայի մայրաքաղաք Փարիզում։
