«5165» շարժման առաջնորդ Կարին Տոնոյանը ֆեսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է. «Ամեն ինչ սահման ունի.....
Այսօր, երբ Ալեն Սիմոնյան կոչված թյուրիմացությունը բարբաջում էր գերիների մասին, ես մեր աշակերտների հետ «Զինվորի տանն» էի, և նայելով հաշմանդամության սայլակին նստած այդ հրաշք տղաներին, որոնց հետ Հայրենիքի մասին զրույցը լավագույն դասն էր մեր աշակերտների համար, մտածում էի, որ նրանք էլ կարող էին այդպես վիրավոր գերի ընկած լինել և..... այսօր նրանց է՞լ էր վերաբերելու այդ խոսքերը......ոչ ոք չգիտե, թե այդ տղաներից ով ինչպես է գերի ընկել, և եթե անգամ 18-19 տարեկան տղան անելանելիությունից գերի է հանձնվել, ո՞վ է դատավորը, ո՞ր իրավունքով.... այդ տղաները միայն կռվի դաշտում լինելով արդեն իսկ հազար անգամ ավելին են արել, քան դուք՝ 5000 երիտասարդի կյանք և 10000-ի էլ առողջություն գիտակցաբար զոհաբերած ճիվաղներդ..... իսկ դասալքության փաստը նախ պետք է ապացուցել և, իհարկե, դատապարտել, դա այլ հարց է:
Այս պահվածքը վկայում է այն մասին, որ սրանք ոչ միայն հաղորդ չեն մարդկային ցավին ու մարդասիրությանն ընդհանրապես, այլև բացարձակ պատասխանատվություն չեն ստանձնել որպես պաշտոնյա մեր քաղաքացիներին տեր կանգնելու, ուստի առաջարկում եմ պահանջել, որ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը հրաժարվի պաշտոնից և գնա Սյունիքի ամենավտանգված հատվածը, այնտեղ, որտեղից Ալիևը միջանցք է պահանջում, և կռվի այդ տարածքի համար ու գերի չընկնի......
Իսկ երկրի թիվ մեկ պաշտոնում նա իրավունք չունի ղեկավարելու ևս մեկ օր անգամ, անհապաղ պետք է պահանջել նրա հեռացումը: Ամոթ է, որ մեր երկիրը նման մեկը ղեկավարի, ամոթ է, որ մենք հանդուրժենք նման «ղեկավարի»»:
