Ջորջ Քլունին մերժել է թուրքական ավիաընկերության 35 միլիոն դոլարի առաջարկը
INTERNATIONAL NEWS60-ամյա հոլիվուդյան դերասան Ջորջ Քլունին մերժել է թուրքական ավիաընկերության 35 միլիոն դոլարի առաջարկը՝ Թուրքիայի կողմից հայ ժողովրդի Ցեղասպանությունը չճանաչելու պատճառով։
Քլունիին կլորիկ գումար են առաջարկել Turkish Airlines ավիաընկերության գովազդը նկարահանելու համար։ Guardian-ին տված հարցազրույցում դերասանը նշել է, որ ստանալով առաջարկը՝ խորհրդակցել է կնոջ՝ Ամալ Քլունիի հետ, եւ միասին որոշել են հրաժարվել:
«Ինձ առաջարկեցին 35 միլիոն դոլար ավիաընկերության գովազդում մեկ օրվա աշխատանքի համար, բայց ես խոսեցի Ամալի հետ և որոշեցինք, որ դա չարժե: Դա մի երկիր էր, որը թեև ԱՄՆ-ի դաշնակից է, բայց երբեմն կասկածներ է հարուցում»,- ասել է Քլունին։
Ինչպես գրում է Le Figaro-ի ֆրանսիացի լրագրող Քրիստոֆեր Բուսսոնը Twitter-ի իր միկրոբլոգում, մերժման պատճառը Թուրքիայի կողմից 1915 թվականին Հայոց ցեղասպանության պատմական փաստը չճանաչելն է։
