Սոչիում Պուտին-Փաշինյան-Ալիև եռակողմ հանդիպման ժամանակ ՌԴ նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել կողմերին իր առաջարկին արձագանքելու և ՌԴ գալու համար, որպեսզի ամփոփվի այն աշխատանքը, որ կատարվել է վերջին 1 տարվա ընթացքում։

«Այս ընթացքում քիչ բան չէ արվել, ցավոք, որոշ հարցեր դեռ չեն կարգավորվել, և միջադեպեր են եղել սահմանին, ողբերգական իրադարձություններ։ Երկու կողմերից մարդիկ են մահանում, վիրավորում են ստանում․ դրանք հարցեր են, որոնք մեր կողմից ուշադրության արժանի են։ Ըստ էության, դրա համար է, որ այսօր հավաքվել ենք, որպեսզի հետագայում խուսափենք նման միջադեպերից։ Բայց ընդհաուևր առմամբ 1 տարվա ընթացքում քիչ բան չէ, որ արվել է, և առաջինն այն է, որ խոշորամասշտաբ ռազմական գործողություններ չկան այս ընթացքում․ դա լավ է»,-ասել է Պուտինը, ապա ընդգծել, որ ռուսական կողմից ևս բավականին աշխատանք է կատարվել փախստականների վերադարձի առումով, մոտ 50000-ն արդեն վերադարձել են։ 

Պուտինը նաև հույս է հայտնել, որ մոտ ապագայում հնարավոր կլինի ճանապարհների ապաշրջափակման մասով կոնկրետ որոշումներ կայացնելու համար։

«Հաշվի առնելով հատուկ հարաբերությունները Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի հետ՝ 100 տարվա ընթացքում 1 ընդհանուր պետության կազմում ենք եղել, չէինք ուզենա դրանք խախտվեն, հակառակը ուզում ենք վերականգնել և պահպանել»,-ասել է Պուտինը։
