Չինաստանում ուսանողը դատապարտվել է Հոնկոնգի անկախության կոչի համար
INTERNATIONAL NEWSՀոնկոնգի դատարանը 20-ամյա ուսանող, ակտիվիստ Թոնի Չունին դատապարտել է 3 տարի, 7 ամիս ազատազրկման՝ անջատողականության և փողերի լվացման խրախուսման համար, ով Հոնկոնգի ամենաերիտասարդ բնակիչն է, որը դատապարտվել է ազգային անվտանգության նոր օրենքը խախտելու համար, հայտնում է China Morning Post-ը։
Մեղադրող կողմի խոսքով՝ Թոնի Չունը անցյալ տարվա հուլիսի 1-ից հոկտեմբերի 27-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում փորձել է «անջատել Հոնկոնգը Չինաստանից կամ անօրինական կերպով փոխել քաղաքի սահմանադրական կարգավիճակը»։ 2016 թվականին Թոնի Չունը հիմնել է Studentlocalism շարժումը, որը պաշտպանում էր Հոնկոնգի անկախությունը Չինաստանից։ Ազգային անվտանգության մասին օրենքի ընդունման օրը՝ 2020 թվականի հունիսի 30-ին, շարժումը պաշտոնապես լուծարվեց, սակայն, ըստ մեղադրող կողմի, Թոնի Չունը շարունակեց զբաղվել անջատողական գործունեությամբ։
Բացի այդ, ըստ մեղադրող կողմի, ուսանողը զբաղվել է էլեկտրոնային դրամապանակների միջոցով անջատողական գործունեության ֆինանսավորման համար միջոցների անօրինական հավաքագրմամբ։
Թոնի Չունը Հոնկոնգի երրորդ բնակիչն է, ով դատապարտվել է ազատազրկման ազգային անվտանգության նոր օրենքը խախտելու համար։
