Հինգշաբթի օրը նոյեմբերի 11-ին Նիդերլանդներում գրանցվել է ավելի քան 16,000 կորոնավիրուսային վարակման դեպք վերջին 24 ժամվա ընթացքում, ինչը ամենաբարձր ցուցանիշն է համաճարակի սկզբից ի վեր, նշում է Ռոյթերս գործակալությունը։

Դեպքերի աճող թվաքանակը մեծ ճնշում է հիվանդանոցների վրա, և առողջապահության փորձագետները կոչ են անում կառավարությանը մասնակի արգելափակում կիրառել:

Հաարլեմում, օրինակ, թեստավորման կենտրոնի աշխատող Անիկա Գանսը թեստավորման պահանջարկի աճը ներկայացրեց որպես «զանգվածային»: Արդյունքում, թեստավորում իրականացնողները ստիպված են երկար սպասել թեստավորման օրի նշանակմանը:

Կառավարությունը սովորաբար հետևում է փորձագիտական խմբի առաջարկություններին: Նոյեմբերի 12-ին վարչապետի պարտականությունները կատարող Մարկ Ռյուտեի կաբինետը քննարկեց այս հարցը արտակարգ նիստի ընթացքում և որոշեց մասնակիորեն կիրառել լոքդաուն:

Արգելափակման հաստատումից հետո Նիդերլանդները դարձավ Արևմտյան Եվրոպայի առաջին երկիրը, ուր ամառվանից ի վեր կիրառվեց մասնակի արգելափակում: Այստեղ չափահաս բնակչության մոտ 85%-ը լիովին պատվաստվել է COVID-19-ի դեմ։
