Արտակ Զաքարյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է՝

«Իսրայելի Կնեսետում, հերթական անգամ ներկայացվել է, Իսրայելի պետության կողմից, 1915թ. Հայոց Ցեղասպանության պաշտոնապես ճանաչման օրենքի նախագիծ։ Այս անգամ, նախաձեռնությունը «Լիքուդ» և «ՇԱՍ» խմբակցությունների մի քանի պատգամավորներինն է։ Օրինագծի հեղինակներից մեկն Իսրայելի Կնեսետի նախկին նախագահ, Լիքուդ կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչ Իյոել Էդելշտեյնն է։ 

Դեռևս 2017թ., երբ պարոն Էդելշտեյնը Կնեսետի խոսնակն էր, իմ ղեկավարած հայկական խորհրդարանական պատվիրակության հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ, համոզմունք էր հայտնել, որ որ վաղ թե ուշ Կնեսետը պետք է ճանաչի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը 

Նախկինում ընդդիմադիր պատգամավոր, այժմ իշխող կոալիցիայում «Կախոլ Լավան» կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչ և Իսրայելի պետության արտգործնախարար Յաիր Լապիդը (ում հետ ժամանակին հանդիպել և զրուցել ենք իր նախաձեռնության շուրջ), 2017-19թթ. նախաձեռնում և ակտիվ առաջ էր մղում Հայոց Ցեղասպանության ճանաչման նախագիծը։ Այն ժամանակ, այդ օրինագծին ակտիվ աջակցում էին նաև ընդդիմադիր պատգամավորներ Գիդեոն Սաարը («Տիկվա Խադաշա» կուսակցությունից), ով այսօր Իսրայելի արդարադատության նախարարն է, ինչպես նաև նախկին ընդդիմադիր պատգամավոր Թամար Զանդբերգը («Մերեց» կուսակցություն)՝ ով այսօր Իսրայելի բնապահպանության նախարարն է։ 

Հետաքրքիր իրավիճակ է ստեղծվել։ Նախկին ընդդիմադիրները, որոնք այսօր իշխանության են, ոչ հեռու անցյալում եղել են Հայոց Ցեղասպանության ճանաչման ամենաակտիվ ջատագովները։ Նախկին իշխանության ներկայացուցիչները, ովքեր տարբեր քաղաքական մեկնաբանություններով, անընդհատ հետաձգում էին ճանաչումը, այսօր ընդդիմադիր են և հենց իրենք են ներկայացրել օրենքի նախագիծ։ 

Այս անգամ ինչպե՞ս է Իսրայելի կառավարությունը նախագծի հետաձգման, կամ մերժման մեկնաբանություններ գտնելու, դեռ պարզ չէ։ Բայց  ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից, Հայոց Ցեղասպանության ճանաչման և Մեծ Բրիտանիայի ճանաչման փորձի ֆոնի վրա, կարծես Իսրայելը ևս հետ չի ցանկանում մնալ։ Շատ հնարավոր է, որ նաև ճանաչի։ 

Պատճառը կարող է լինել այն, որ Թուրքիային, կրկին ցանկանում են դեմ տալ պատին՝ նրան հակաիրանական կոալիցիա ներքաշելու, կամ Ռուսաստանի հետ համագործակցությունից հետ պահելու նպատակով։ Ձեռքի հետ էլ հնարավոր կլինի խայտառակ պատերազ ու խոշոր տարածքային կորուստներ կրած հայ ժողովրդին բարոյական աջակցություն ցույց տալ, գլուխ շոյել։ Կարծում եմ, որ Թուրքիան, այս անգամ ևս, կգնա  քաղաքական առևտրին ընդառաջ։ 
Ափսոս, հազար անգամ ափսոս, որ այս խառն ու անկայուն ժամանակներում, մեր երկրի իշխանությունները ոչ միայն դավադիր են, այլ նաև մեխի գլխի պես տգետ են ու համառ։ 
Եթե նորմալ իշխանություններ ունենայինք գոնե 2021թ ընտրություններից հետո, շատ բան կարելի էր թեքել դեպի մեր երկրի ու ժողովրդի օգտին։ Մեր հաշվին, մեր խաղաթղթերով, մեր կապիտուլյանտներին անտեսելով, մեր շուրջ և առանց մեզ որոշվում  են մեր կենսական հարցերը»։
