Բիլ Գեյթսը զգուշացրել է աշխարհին սպառնող նոր մարտահրավերների մասին
INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱշխարհը պետք է պատրաստվի ոչ միայն նոր համավարակների, այլ նաեւ կենսաբանական զենքի կիրառմամբ հնարավոր ահաբեկչական հարձակումների, որոնք կարող են ավելի վտանգավոր լինել, քան կորոնավիրուսի տարածումը։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Microsoft-ի հիմնադիր եւ բարերար Բիլ Գեյթսը։
Գեյթսը բրիտանական Policy Exchange ՀԿ-ի հետ հարցազրույցում ասել է, որ միլիարդավոր դոլարներ պետք է ծախսվեն համաճարակաբանական անվտանգության հետազոտությունների եւ նոր սպառնալիքներին դիմակայելու համար վարակիչ հիվանդությունների դեմ պայքարի հատուկ մեխանիզմների մշակման վրա:
Նա կոչ է արել Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությանը հատուկ աշխատանքային խումբ ստեղծել՝ վերահսկելու համաճարակաբանական իրավիճակը։ Գեյթսի խոսքով՝ այս կառույցը կարող է պատրաստվել նաեւ կենսաահաբեկիչների կողմից հնարավոր հարձակումներին՝ կիրառելով դրանց հետեւանքների վերացման սցենարները, հաղորդել է BBC-ն։
«ԱՀԿ-ի՝ համավարակի հարցերով աշխատանքային խմբին, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, տարեկան պետք կլինի մոտ մեկ միլիարդ դոլար: Այն կվերահսկի եւ կանցկացնի «մանրէաբանական վարժանքներ», ինչպես ես եմ դրանք անվանում», - ասել է Microsoft-ի հիմնադիրը Մեծ Բրիտանիայի նախկին արտգործնախարար Ջերեմի Հանթի հետ հարցազրույցում, ով այժմ ղեկավարում է բրիտանական խորհրդարանի առողջապահության հարցերով հանձնաժողովը։
Կենսաբանական զենքի կիրառմամբ ահաբեկչական հարձակումների սպառնալիքի կանխարգելման կարեւորությունը Գեյթսը բացատրում է հետեւյալ կերպ. «Իսկ ի՞նչ կլինի, եթե կենսաահաբեկիչները ջրծաղիկ հիվանդություն բերեն 10 օդանավակայաններ: Մենք գիտե՞նք, թե աշխարհն ինչպես կարող է արձագանքել դրան: Կան բնականորեն առաջացող համաճարակներ եւ համաճարակներ, որոնք առաջանում են կենսաահաբեկչությունից: Վերջինս կարող է նույնիսկ ավելի վատ լինել, քան այն, ինչի միջով այժմ անցնում ենք… Հուսով եմ, որ հինգ տարի հետո կկարողանամ «Մենք պատրաստ ենք հաջորդ համավարակին» վերնագրով գիրք գրել, սակայն դրա համար պետք է միլիարդավոր դոլարներ ծախսել հետազոտությունների վրա: ԱՄՆ-ը եւ Մեծ Բրիտանիան կմասնակցեն դրան»։
