Մեղրի համայնքի ղեկավարի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատար, «Քաղպայմանագրի» թեկնածու Արարատ Թումանյանը, որը կարատեի մարզիչ է, երեկ մեզ հայտնեց, որ հոկտեմբերի 17-ի ընտրությունների փաստով կուսակցությունը դիմում է ներկայացնելու Գլխավոր դատախազություն, քանի որ, նրա խոսքով, խոշորացված համայնքում գործել է ընտրակարուսել:
«Իմ համար շատ անսպասելի բան է տեղի ունեցել, որ ես չեմ հաղթել։ Կարուսելը ձեզ հայտնի է. Մեղրի քաղաքի գեղագիտական շենքում, որտեղ տեղամասերից մեկն էր, կարուսել է գրանցվել, մեր վստահված անձը բարձրաձայնել է, պարզապես հանձնաժողովի նախագահը եղել է երեւի ոչ մեր ջատագովը, չի արձանագրել։ Մենք էլ դիմելու ենք դատախազություն։ Ի դեպ, սա միակ դեպքը չէ, Բագրատ Զաքարյանի ծննդավայր Լեւազում եւս գրանցվել է»,- ասաց Թումանյանը։
Հիշեցնենք, որ ընտրությունների արդյունքով ՔՊ-ն երկրորդ տեղն է զբաղեցրել՝ ավագանու 15 մանդատներից ստանալով 5-ը, 6 մանդատ էլ Արամ Սարգսյանի «Հանրապետությունն» է ստացել՝ ի դեմս Բագրատ Զաքարյանի, երկուական մանդատ ստացել են Ռուբեն Վարդանյանի «Ապրելու երկիրն» ու Սամվել Բաբայանի «Ազատականը»։ ՔՊ-ն բանակցում է վերջին երկուսի հետ` քաղաքային իշխանությունը վերցնելու նպատակով, իսկ քրեական գործերով, ըստ ամենայնի, փորձելու են ճնշել ամենաշատ ձայն հավաքած թեկնածուին։
