Իտալիայում վտանգավոր հիվանդություններ տարածող մոծակներ են հայտնվել

Հյուսիսային Իտալիայում մոծակների նոր տեսակ է հայտնվել, որոնք ունակ են մահացու հիվանդություններ տարածել: Այս մասին ասվում է Միլանի պետական համալսարանի գիտնականների կողմից հրապարակված Parasites & Vectors միջազգային գիտական ամսագրում հրապարակված հետազոտության մեջ:
Խոսքը Aedes koreicus տեսակին պատկանող այսպես կոչված «կորեական» մոծակների մասին է:
«Տարբեր գործոններ նպաստում են մոծակների օտար տեսակների տարածմանը՝ ներառյալ կլիմայական պայմանները, մարդկանց եւ ապրանքների մշտական տեղաշարժը եւ թրթուրների զարգացման համար հարմար միջավայրի առկայությունը», - նշվում է ուսումնասիրության մեջ:
Մոծակների նոր ինվազիվ տեսակների հատուկ ծրագրի շրջանակներում հնարավոր տարածքների ուսումնասիրության համար Միլանի համալսարանի հետազոտողները միայն հյուսիսային Իտալիայի Բերգամո եւ Բրեշիա նահանգներում հայտնաբերել են մոտ 6 հազար թրթուր եւ Aedes koreicus-ի հարյուրավոր ձվեր, որոնք լայնորեն տարածված են Հարավային Կորեայում, Ճապոնիայում, Չինաստանի հյուսիսում, ինչպես նաեւ Ռուսաստանի որոշ շրջաններում:
Գիտնականների կարծիքով՝ ի տարբերություն շատ այլ տեսակների, «կորեական» մոծակները լավ են դիմանում ցրտին եւ այժմ ակտիվորեն տարածվում են հյուսիսային Իտալիայի լեռնային շրջաններում: Այն փաստը, որ այս տեսակը հայտնաբերվել է Բերգամոյում, ստիպել է գիտնականներին ենթադրել, որ դրանք նահանգում են հայտնվել այնտեղ գտնվող Օրիո ալ Սերիո միջազգային օդանավակայանի միջոցով:
Aedes koreicus մոծակները ճապոնական էնցեֆալիտ վարակի պոտենցիալ կրողներ են, որը, Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության տվյալներով, Ասիայի շատ երկրներում վիրուսային էնցեֆալիտի հիմնական պատճառն է:
