Թուրքագետ Վարուժան Գեղամյանը Ֆեյսբուքի իր ջում գրել է.

«Արժանահավատ լուրերը հաստատում են, որ Սյունիքում կապիտուլիանտը հերթական հայկական հողն է նվիրել թշնամուն, այս անգամ՝ Կապանի մերձակայքում։
Սա հերթական հիշեցումն է մեզ համար, որ Ադրբեջանը և Թուրքիան Հայաստանի տարածքը նվաճելու հարցում չեն կանգնելու ոչ մի վայրկյան, ինչքան էլ ցանկանաք չհավատալ, որ 21-րդ դարում լինում են պետության լիարժեք նվաճումներ, ցեղասպանություններ ու մեծ պատերազմներ։ Որպես մասնագետ, կարող եմ Թուրք-ադրբեջանական համատեղ ուժերը ամեն հնարավորություն օգտագործելու են, որ այս տարածքում «Հայաստան» պետություն գոյություն չունենա։ Սա ոչ թե Էրդողանի, Ալիևի կամ որևէ այլ գործչի անձնական նախընտրության հարց է, այլ այդ երկու պետությունների բնական ձգտումը՝ իրենց դիրքերը տարածաշրջանում մեծացնելու ու նորանոր հաջողություններ գրանցելու։ Հայաստանը այսօր այդ զարգացմանը խանգարող գլխավոր գործոնն է, միաժամանակ՝ ամենաթույլ։
Հայաստան պետության վերջնական վերացումը Սա է միակ կարմիր գիծը, դրանից զատ մեր թշնամիները որևէ բանի առջև չեն կանգնելու։ Խաղաղության որևէ հնարավորություն չկա, բացի խաղաղություն պարտադրելուց։
Հետևաբար, քանի կա այս կապիտուլիանտ իշխանությունը, որը փոխանակ Հայաստանը հզորացնի, խոսում է գոյություն չունեցող խաղաղության մասին՝ փաստացի այն մուրալով նրանցից, ովքեր խաղաղություն չեն տալիս, շարունակելու են լինել տարածքային ու այլ կորուստներ։ Կորուստներ անդադար՝ ամեն շաբաթ, ամեն ամիս, ամեն տարի, քանի կան կապիտուլիանտն ու իր տգետների թիմը և չկա ազգային իշխանություն։
