Հնդկաստանի արտգործնախարար Սուբրամանյամ Ջայշանկարը ՀՀ-ում իր գործընկերոջ հետ հանդիպմանն առաջարկել է Իրանի Չաբահար նավահանգիստն օգտագործել որպես «Հյուսիս-հարավ» միջազգային տրանսպորտային միջանցքի հանգույց: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ այս մասին ասաց Ջայշանկարը Երևանում ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանի հետ համատեղ ասուլիսում:
Ջայշանկարը նախ նշեց, որ ուղիղ կապի պակասը խոչընդոտ է երկու երկրների մարդկանց շփումների և տնտեսական, առևտրային փոխանակումների համար՝ ընդգծելով, որ թե՛ Հնդկաստանը, թե՛ Հայաստանը հանդիսանում են «Հյուսիս-հարավ» միջազգային տրանսպորտային միջանցքի անդամ, որը հեռանկար ունի կապակցվածության զարգացման համար:
«Ես և Միրզոյանը քննարկեցինք հետաքրքրությունը, որը Հայաստանը դրսևորել է Չաբահար նավահանգստի օգտագործման առումով Իրանում, որը մշակվել է Հնդկաստանի կողմից: Առաջարկեցինք նաև, որ նավահանգիստը օգտագործվի որպես միջազգային տրանսպորտային միջանցքի հանգույց»,-ասաց Ջայշանկարը:
Արարատ Միրզոյանն էլ իր հերթին ընդգծեց, որ Հնդկաստանի իր գործընկերոջ հետ անդրադարձել են մեծ տարածաշրջանում ենթակառուցվածքների հարցին, «Հյուսիս-հարավ» տրանսպորտային միջանցքին:
«Երկու երկրներն էլ հետաքրքրված են այս նախաձեռնության կյանքի կոչման մեջ: Մենք քննարկել ենք նավահանգստի շուրջ ընթացող վերջին դրական զարգացումները, Հնդկաստանի և Հայաստանի միջև ճանապարհի ուղիղ հաղորդակցության հաստատման խնդիրը, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանից Վրաստանով դեպի Ռուսաստան և գուցե Սև ծովով դեպի Եվրոպա հետագա տարանցիկ փոխանցումների հարցը: Սա մեր օրակարգի կարևոր բաղկացուցիչն է»,- ասաց ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարը:
Անդրադառնալով Պարսից ծոց-Սև ծով նախաձեռնությանը՝ Միրզոյանը հայտնեց, որ իրանական կողմի հետ նախորդ օրը քննարկել այս հարցը: Այս ծրագրի, համաձայնագրի առումով իրադարձությունները, նախարարի խոսքով, բավականանին դինամիկ են զարգանում: «Հուսով եմ, որ մոտ ապագայում կունենանք ստորագրված համաձայնությունը՝ այդ փաստաթղթի շուրջ»,-ասաց նա:
