Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը  «FRANCE 24» հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում սպառնացել է Հայաստանին:

«Իմ խոսքերը կարող են կոպիտ թվալ. ես զգուշացրել և զգուշացնում եմ Հայաստանին` ցանկացած սպառնալիք մեր երկրի համար կստանա կոշտ պատասխան, և Հայաստանում գիտեն, թե ինչպես կարող ենք պատասխանել: Արցախյան երկրորդ պատերազմը ցույց տվեց, որ Հայաստանը ոչ մի շանս չունի մեր դեմ: Մենք չենք ուզում նոր պատերազմ սկսել, դա մեզ պետք չէ: Բայց ես կարծում եմ, որ այժմ ժամանակն է զգուշացնել հայերին, որ պետք չէ մտածել վրեժի մասին, այլ պետք է մտածել ապագայի մասին »,-ասել է նա:

Ալիևը կոչ է արել Հայաստանին հրաժարվել Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ տարածքային պահանջներից, սկսել սահմանների սահմանազատում և սահմանագծում, նախապատրաստվել խաղաղության պայմանագրի ստորագրման բանակցություններին:

Ալիևը նաև բացառել է Արցախում բնակվող հայերին ինքնավարություն տալու հնարավորությունը:

«Ինչ վերաբերում է ինքնավարության մասին խոսակցություններին, ապա ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահները քաջատեղյակ են Ադրբեջանի դիրքորոշմանը: Ժամանակին մենք առաջարկում էինք հայերին տրամադրել ինքնակառավարման որոշակի աստիճան, սակայն նրանք անընդհատ մերժում էին այս տարբերակը: Նրանք խոսում էին միայն անկախության մասին: Եվ հիմա, երբ հակամարտությունն ավարտվեց, նրանք ինքնավարության հարց են բարձրացնում: Բայց մեր օրակարգը չի ներառում նրանց որևէ ինքնավարություն տալը», - ասել է Ալիևը:
