Ջո Բայդենը մեղադրվում է հարկերից խուսափելու մեջ

ԱՄՆ-ում Հանրապետական կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչները նախագահ Ջո Բայդենին մեղադրել են 500 հազար դոլարի հարկերից խուսափելու մեջ, հայտնում է New York Post-ը:
Խոսքը Medicare առողջապահական ծրագրի շրջանակներում կատարվող վճարների մասին է, որոնց իբր Սպիտակ տան ներկայիս ղեկավարը պարտք է եղել պաշտոնը ստանձնելուց առաջ: Պատգամավոր Ջիմ Բենքսը պարզաբանել է, որ, ըստ Կոնգրեսի հետազոտական ծառայության զեկույցի, Բայդենը չարաշահել է այսպես կոչված S կորպորացիաները՝ 2017-2018 թվականներին ելույթների եւ գրքերի վաճառքից ստացված հոնորարներից հարկերը չվճարելու համար:
Ջո եւ Ջիլ Բայդեններն այս կերպ անցկացրել են ընդհանեւր ավելի քան 13 միլիոն դոլար, սակայն նրանք որպես եկամուտ հայտարարագրել են 800.000 դոլարից պակաս: Ընդ որում, զեկույցում ԱՄՆ նախագահի անունը որպես խախտող չի նշվում, այլ նշվում են S-կորպորացիաների օգտագործման եւ կասկածելի ցածր եկամուտի նմանատիպ դեպքեր, որոնցից հարկեր են վճարվում:
Բացի այդ, փաստաթղթում նշվում է, որ նախագահի հարկային հայտարարագրերը ենթակա են ավտոմատ ստուգման միայն նրա պաշտոնավարման ժամանակահատվածի համար, այսինքն՝ 2021 թվականից: Այս տարի Սպիտակ տունն արդեն նշել էր, որ Բայդենի S-կորպորացիաների ստուգում չի իրականացվելու, քանի որ դրանք այլես չեն գործում:
Միացյալ Նահանգներում S- կորպորացիաներ են կոչվում այն ընկերությունները, որոնք եկամտահարկ չեն վճարում, քանի որ փոխանցում են դրանք իրենց բաժնետերերին (ֆիզիկական անձանց), որպեսզի արդեն նրանք վճարեն ֆիզիկական անձանց համար եկամտահարկի դրույքաչափով: Այս կարգավիճակը ստանալու համար ընկերությունները պետք է կատարեն մի շարք խիստ պահանջներ:
Հանրապետականները Ջո Բայդենի հասցեին իրենց մեղադրանքները հնչեցրել են Սպիտակ տան ղեկավարի՝ հարուստ ամերիկացիներին ուղղված «արդար հարկեր վճարելու» կոչի ֆոնին: Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահը հայտարարել էր, որ ամենահարուստ մարդկանց մեկ տոկոսը խուսափում է 160 միլիարդ դոլարի հարկերից, որոնք նրանք պետք է վճարեն ամեն տարի: Նա պարզաբանել է, որ այս իրավիճակը պայմանավորված է հարկային մարմիններից մեծահարուստների եկամուտների վերաբերյալ ճշգրիտ տվյալների բացակայությամբ:
