Կրեմլն իր հերթին արձագանքել է Մարիա Զախարովայի հայտարարությամբ. «Մոսկվան պատրաստ է օգնել բարելավել հարաբերությունները Թուրքիայի և Հայաստանի միջև և տեսնում է դրական ազդակներ երկրների միջև»: Ավելին, ելույթ ունենալով Նոր գիտելիքի մարաթոնում՝ Ռուսաստանի արտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովն ասել է, որ այժմ, երբ պատերազմը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում ավարտվել է, հիմքեր կան քաղաքական գործընթացի, տրանսպորտային և տնտեսական կապերի ապաշրջափակման համար, և տրամաբանական կլինի, եթե Հայաստանն ու Թուրքիան վերսկսեն հարաբերությունները կարգավորելու ջանքերը, իսկ Մոսկվան պատրաստ է ակտիվորեն աջակցել դրան»:

Կա այնպիսի համառ զգացում, որ Երևանը ոչ մի ազդակ էլ չի տեսնում: Պաշտոնական Երևանի՝ Թուրքիայի կողմից դրական ազդակների մասին հայտարարությունները ավելի շատ նման են «ռազմագերու» հայտարարություններին, որ իրեն լավ են վերաբերվում, և թվում է, թե այդ հայտարարությունների տեքստերը գրվում են Կրեմլի գրասենյակներում և տրվում են «ռազմագերուն» բարձրաձայնելու համար:
