«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է. «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին մանրամասներ են հայտնի դարձել, թե ինչու է երեկ հրաժարական ներկայացրել Արարատի մարզպետ Ռազմիկ Թեւոնյանը: Բանն այն է, որ անակնկալ կերպով հրաժարական ներկայացրած Թեւոնյանը, որ ամիսներ առաջ՝ 2020-ի դեկտեմբերին էր մարզպետ նշանակվել, պատրաստվում է մասնակցել Արարատ քաղաքում անցկացվելիք տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմինների ընտրություններին:
Ըստ մեր աղբյուրների՝ առաջիկայում խոշորացվող Արարատ համայնքում, որի կազմի մեջ է լինելու նաեւ Ավշար համայնքը, իշխանությունը ցանկանում է ուժեղ ու կարող թեկնածուի առաջադրել: Հայտնի է, որ արդեն մի քանի տասնամյակ Արայիկ Գրիգորյանի (Ավշարի Արայիկի) «վերահսկողության» տակ գտնվող Ավշար գյուղն իշխանությունը մտադիր է վերցնել Գրիգորյան եղբայրների ձեռքից ու իրենով անել: Ահա սա է պատճառը, որ ակտիվ կենսակերպ ունեցող Ռազմիկ Թեւոնյանը, որ լավ է տիրապետում մարզին, գիտի՝ ինչ քայլերով կարող է ցանկալի արդյունքի հասնել, ազատման դիմում է գրել:
Թե ինչ է սպասվում առաջիկա ընտրություններում, դժվար է ասել, բայց բոլոր ընտրությունների ժամանակ մշտապես հաղթանակ տարած Գրիգորյաններից ավելի շատ ձայն պետք է հավաքի Թեւոնյանը: Հավելենք, որ նրա պատգամավոր որդին՝ Սեդրակ Թեւոնյանը, հոր հրաժարականը պատճառաբանել էր միայն մեծ տարիքով:
