Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանի աշխատանքային այցը Մոսկվա ինքնին հետաքրքրաշարժ է մի քանի առումներով: Նախ՝ հաշվի առնենք, որ, ըստ շրջանառված ու չհերքված տեղեկությունների, հենց Ռուսաստանն էր դեմ, որ կարճ ժամկետով ԱԳ նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ նշանակված Արմեն Գրիգորյանը դառնա ԱԳ նախարար: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին փաստացի չհաջողվեց Գրիգորյանի օգտին լոբբինգ իրականացնել Մոսկվայում և ստիպված նորից հետ վերադարձրեց ԱԽ քարտուղարի պաշտոնին:

Ըստ էության, Ռուսաստանի համար Արարատ Միրզոյանի թեկնածությունը դիտվել է որպես «չարյաց փոքրագույն» տարբերակ: Ուշագրավ էր, որ Արարատ Միրզոյանի նշանակմանն անմիջապես հետևեց ՌԴ արտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովի շնորհավորանքն ու հրավերը Մոսկվա, ինչը վկայում է այն մասին, որ Ռուսաստանի հայկական «դոսյեներում» բազմաթիվ հարցեր կային, որոնք հրատապ քննարկման կարիք ունեին: Ինչ վերաբերում է բուն այցին, ապա այս առումով մեզ որոշ հետաքրքիր մանրամասներ հայտնի դարձան:

Ըստ մեր աղբյուրների, Արարատ Միրզոյանը կասկածներ ունի՝ կապված նոյեմբերի 10-ին իր հետ պատահածի հետ, այն առումով, որ հենց իշխանությունները կարող էին, այսպես ասած, իր «գլխին սարքած լինել» ու «ժերտվա տալ»: Նա այս կասկածների հետ կապված նրբորեն փորձել է տեղեկություններ ստանալ Մոսկվայում: Ըստ մեզ փոխանցված տեղեկությունների, ռուս գործընկերները ակնարկը հասկացել են և ուղիղ տեքստով ասել, թե «ձեզ մոտ առանց այդ էլ խնդիրների պակաս չկա, առաջարկում ենք զբաղվել այդ խնդիրների լուծմամբ»:
