Հանրային հեռուստաընկերության եթերում Ազգային ժողովի «Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Վահե Հակոբյանը, պատասխանելով հարցին, թե ԱԺ են գնացել աշխատելո՞ւ, թե խորհրդարանի աշխատանքը վիժեցնելու և նոր ընտրությունների հասնելու համար, ասաց․
«Մանդատը վերցնելը մեզ համար լրացուցիչ գործիքակազմ է ներկա իշխանությունների դեմ պայքարելու համար, անգամ ԱԺ-ում, դա ոչ մի դեպքում չի ենթադրում վիժեցնել աշխատանքը, դա ենթադրում է, որ հանրությանը ավելի հասանելի դառնա մեր ձայնը, թե ո՞ր կործանարար ուղով են տանում ներկա իշխանությունները մեր երկիրը»,- ասաց Հակոբյանը։
Հիշեցմանը, որ Վահե Հակոբյանը ՀՀԿ-ն լքել է 2018 թվականին, և ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահները հայտարարում էին, թե դժվար պահին իրենք մաքրվեցին, ով պետք է թռներ, թռավ, Վահե Հակոբյանը համարո՞ւմ է, որ 2018 թվականին ինքը «թռավ» ՀՀԿ-ից, պատգամավորը պատասխանեց․
«Ես չեմ կարծում, որ Հանրապետական կուսակցությունում իմ մասնին նման կարծիք կար։ Այո, այնտեղ մարդիկ կային, որոնցից կուսակցությունն էր ուզում ազատվել։ Ես այդ շարքին ինձ չեմ վերագրում, համոզված եմ՝ ՀՀԿ-ի իմ գործընկերներն էլ։ Ես այդ ժամանակ չէի ուզում զբաղվել քաղաքականությամբ, ես ուզում էի զբաղվել նրանով, ինչով զբաղվում էի 2006-7 թվականներին, դա բիզնեսն է, և ուզում էի գլխով և ոտքերով մտնել այդ ոլորտ և շարունակել բիզնեսով զբաղվելը՝ առանց որոշ քաղաքական օղակներով կաշկանդված լինելու։ Սակայն ներկա իշխանությունները ինձ թույլ չտվեցին, որ ես դուրս գամ, գնամ էնտեղ և սկսեցին հետապնդումներ՝ իմ և իմ ընտանիքի նկատմամբ, մինչև հիմա էլ դա շարունակվում է՝ անթիվ ու անհամար քրեական գործեր, ինչն ինձ ստիպեց արդեն հետո ստեղծել նոր կուսակցություն, որպեսզի կարողանամ պայքարել իրենց դեմ»,- պատասխանեց Հակոբյանը։
Պատսխանելով պնդմանը, որ կարծիքներ կան, թե Քոչարյանն է իրեն վերադարձրել քաղաքակնություն, Հակոբյանը պատասխանեց․
«Ոչ այդպես, ես միացա Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի ստեղծած դաշինքին, քանի որ տվյալ պահին ինքն էր գնում մարտնչելու այս իշխանության դեմ»:
