Խորհրդարանում երեկ տեղի ունեցած ծեծկռտուքին ԱԺ նիստերի դահլիճում ներկա Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հետեւում էր անդրդվելի տեսքով՝ թիկնապահներով շրջապատված, տեղում նստած եւ ժպիտով։ Ընդդիմադիր պատգամավորներն ասում էին, որ հատկապես երկրորդ միջադեպը տեղի է ունեցել նրա անմիջական հրահանգավորմամբ։

«Հայաստան» դաշինքի պատգամավոր Վահե Հակոբյանի ելույթի ընթացքում ՔՊ թիվ մեկ «ուսապարկ» Վահագն Ալեքսանյանը տեղից հայհոյախառն արտահայտություններ էր հնչեցնում, իսկ երբ պատասխան ստացավ՝ «արա»-ով չխոսես, տվար», ՔՊ-ականները կազմակերպված գրոհի անցան՝ ելան տեղներից եւ շարժվեցին Հակոբյանի ուղղությամբ։ Իսկ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը, որը բոլոր թեթեւ ընդհարումների ժամանակ անվտանգության աշխատակիցներին անմիջապես ներս էր հրավիրում, Ալեքսանյանի կողմից ոտքով հարվածելուց հետո նման հրահանգ չհնչեցրեց։ Մոտ 5 րոպե իշխող մեծամասնությունը ծեծի էր ենթարկում փոքրաթիվ ընդդիմությանը, որից հետո նոր ՊՊԾ զորքը մտավ դահլիճ։

Փաշինյանն այդ ընթացքում ինքնագոհ հետեւում էր, թե ինչպես են իր քավոր Վահե Ղալումյանը, Հայկ Սարգսյանը ծեծում Հակոբյանին, Գեղամ Մանուկյանին եւ մյուսներին։ Միջադեպից հետո հայտարարվեց ընդմիջում՝ ՔՊ խմբակցությունը գնաց խմբակցության ղեկավար Կոնջորյանի սենյակ։ Ճանապարհին օրվա հերոսները գլուխ էին գովում, թե ով որ պոզայով եւ որ ընդդիմադիր պատգամավորին է հարվածել։
