ԱՄՆ դեսպանն այցելել է Գեղարքունիքի մարզ
SOCIETYՀուլիսի 26-ին ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Լին Թրեյսին ՀՀ ՊՆ ներկայացուցիչների ուղեկցությամբ այցելել է Գեղարքունիքի մարզ։
Զորամիավորման հրամանատար, գեներալ-մայոր Արայիկ Հարությունյանը դեսպանին ներկայացրել է հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին տիրող իրավիճակը, որից հետո կազմակերպվել է այց Վերին Շորժայի հատվածի սահմանագիծ:
Դեսպան Թրեյսին վերահաստատել է ԱՄՆ-ի մտահոգությունը հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի երկայնքով միջադեպերի վերաբերյալ և ընդգծել, որ ԱՄՆ-ն մերժում է ուժի կիրառումը սահմանազատում իրականացնելու պարագայում:
Դեսպանը նաև ընդգծել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն, որպես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ երկիր, խորապես հավատարիմ է մնում ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության երկարաժամկետ քաղաքական լուծմանը հասնելու նպատակով բոլոր կողմերի հետ աշխատելու գործընթացին։ Միաժամանակ, ըստ Լին Թրեյսիի, ԱՄՆ-ն կողմերից պահանջում է հնարավորինս արագ վերադառնալ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների մակարդակով ընթացող բանակցություններին։
