Կիպրոսի նախագահ Նիկոս Անաստասիադիսը կիպրոսցի թուրք պաշտոնյաներին սպառնացել է, որ կչեղարկի նրանց կիպրական անձնագրերը, հայտնում է Ahval թերթը։
«Նրանք, ովքեր չեն ճանաչում Կիպրոսի Հանրապետությունն ու անջատման և երկիրը մասնատելու կոչեր են անում, չեն կարող կիպրական անձնագրեր ունենալ», - ասել է Անաստասիադիսը։
Կիպրոսի հունական մասի իշխանությունները նշել են, որ այս քայլը չճանաչված Հյուսիսային Կիպրոսի Թուրքական Հանրապետության պաշտոնատար անձանց, այդ թվում՝ Անկարայի հովանավորությունը վայելող ղեկավար Էրսին Թաթարի նկատմամբ կիրառվող պատժամիջոցների մի մասն է։
Կիպրոսի հունական հատվածի ղեկավարի խոսքերը հնչել են Հյուսիսային Կիպրոս Էրողանի այցից հետո։
Ինչպես ավելի վաղ տեղեկացրել է Tert.am-ը, Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը և ինքնահռչակ Հյուսիսային Կիպրոսի Թուրքական Հանրապետության առաջնորդ Էրսին Թաթարը հայտարարել էին Կիպրոսի գրավյալ տարածքում գտնվող Վարոշա քաղաքի մի մասի վերաբացման մասին։ Թաթարը նշել էր, որ քաղաքի տարածքի 3,5 տոկոսում կվերացվի ռազմական կարգավիճակն ու այն քաղաքացիական կարգավիճակ կստանա։
Հայտարարությունը հնչել էր Էրդողանի՝ Հյուսիսային Կիպրոս կատարած այցի ընթացքում, որը կայացել էր Կիպրոս թուրքական ներխուժման 47-ամյակի առթիվ։ Հիշեցնենք, որ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանն այցելել էր ինքնահռչակ Հյուսիսային Կիպրոսի Թուրքական Հանրապետություն՝ 1974 թվականին Կիպրոս թուրքական զորքերի ներխուժման տարեդարձին նվիրված արարողությանը մասնակցելու՝ նպատակ ունենալով հիշեցնել օկուպացիայի մասին՝ առանց երկու կողմերի միջև խաղաղ բանակցությունները տապալելու։
