Աշնանը Հայաստանում սպասվում են ՏԻՄ ընտրություններ։ ԿԸՀ որոշմամբ, դրանք նախատեսված սեպտեմբերի 26-ի և հոկտեմբերի 17-ի փոխարեն կկայանան, համապա-տասխանաբար, հոկտեմբերի 17-ին և նոյեմբերի 14-ին: Հիմա արդեն քաղաքական ուժերն սկսել են պատրաստվել այդ ընտրություններին: «Փաստ» թերթի տեղեկություններով, դրանց առանձնահատուկ ոգևորվածությամբ պատրաստվում են հատկապես իշխանությունները։ Ավելին, նրանք հույս ունեն ՏԻՄ ընտրություններում հերթական անգամ օգտագործել «պողպատյա մանդատի» բլեֆը և հաջողության հասնել։ Իշխանություններն իրենց գործը թեթևացնելու համար նպատակ ունեն մինչև աշուն հնարավորինս շատ համայնքներում հասնել գործող համայնքապետների պաշտոնանկության և սեփական թիմի ներկայացուցիչներին նշանակել։
