«Երասխում կռիվներ են, որոնք ունակ են վերաճելու է Հայաստանի դեմ նոր ու լիարժեք պատերազմի։
Երասխը պատահական վայր չէ, այն բազմաթիվ առումներով Հայաստանի ամենառազմավարական կետերից է, որին տիրող ուժը կարող է թելադրող լինել ոչ միայն Նախիջևանի ուղղությամբ, այլև ողջ Հարավային Կովկասում։ Պատահական չէ, որ 1990թ. մեր առաջին ինքնապաշտպանական մարտերը ընթացել են հենց այս ուղղությամբ և պսակվել հաջողությամբ։
Թե՛ առաջին պատերազմի տարիներին, թե՛ այսօր Երասխի ուղղությամբ հարձակումն անհնար է առանց Թուրքիայի գործուն մասնակցության ու ղեկավարության. այս տարածքը Թուրքիայի թիրախում է որպես տարածաշրջանում թուրքական ծավալապաշտության առաջնային ուղղություն՝ Իրանից մինչև Վրաստան ու Միջին Ասիա։
Ուստի անհնար է կարծել, որ Ադրբեջանի կողմից Երասխի ուղղությամբ հարձակման փորձերը միայն Ադրբեջանի նախաձեռնությունն են։Այս սպառնալից իրավիճակը չէր լինի, եթե գոնե նոյեմբերի 9-ի խայտառակ կապիտուլիացիայից հետո Հայաստանի ղեկավարությունը ժամանակ ու ջանք թափած լիներ միավորելու իր ռեսուրսները Թուրքիայի ծավալապաշտական ծրագրերին ընդդիմացող պետությունների հետ՝ տարածաշրջանի հակաթուրքական դաշինքի անդամ դառնալով։
Դա հնարավորություն կտար համալիր ջանքերով դիմադրել թուրքական նոր ագրեսիային ու այսօր Երասխի վրա հարձակումը հնարավոր է և չլիներ։ Փոխարենը՝ Հայաստանի կապիտուլիանտ ու դե ֆակտո թուրքամետ իշխանությունը սպառնում էր ու սպառնում է սեփական քաղաքացիներին, այլ ոչ թշնամուն։
Ինչևէ, հակաթուրքական դաշինքի անդամ դառնալու համար ժամանակը սպառվում է, ինչպես որ սպառվում է մեր դիմադրության պաշարը։հ.գ. նկարում Երասխի ինքնապաշտպանական մարտերում նահատակված Հայաստանի ազգային հերոս Մովսես Գորգիսյանն է, ում խոսքերը այսօր ևս արդիական են»։
