Հայ ըմբիշները 6 մեդալ նվաճեցին Եվրոպայի երիտասարդական առաջնությունում

Հունիսի 28-ից հուլիսի 4-ը Դորտմունդում (Գերմանիա) կայացել է Եվրոպայի ըմբշամարտի երիտասարդական առաջնությունը, որին մասնակցած 18 հայ ըմբիշներից 6-ը դարձել է մեդալակիր:
Առաջինը պայքարը սկսել են ազատոճային ըմբիշները, որոնցից Լյովա Գևորգյանը (125 կգ) նվաճել է Եվրոպայի չեմպիոնի կոչումը: Պայքարը սկսելով որակավորման փուլից՝ հայ ըմբիշը 3 տպավորիչ հաղթանակ է տոնել, իսկ եզրափակչում հնարավորություն չի տվել ադրբեջանցի Այդին Ահմադովին՝ հաղթելով 11:0 հաշվով: Մանվել Խնձրցյանը (57 կգ) և Լևիկ Միքայելյանը (61 կգ) դարձել են արծաթե մեդալակիրներ, իսկ Սերգեյ Սարգսյանը (92 կգ) և Նարեկ Հարությունյանը (70 կգ)՝ բրոնզե:
Հայաստանի հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբշամարտի երիտասարդական հավաքականը Եվրոպայի առաջնությանը մասնակցել է 10 ըմբիշով, որոնցից 67 կգ քաշային Շանթ Խաչատրյանը դարձել է բրոնզե մեդալակիր:
Եվրոպայի առաջնությանը մասնակցել են նաև Տիգրան Ղազարյանը (65 կգ), Մուշեղ Մկրտչյանը (74 կգ), Կնյազ Իբոյանը (79 կգ), Գառնիկ Հովհաննիսյանը (55 կգ), Դավիթ Ջոթյանը (60 կգ), Վլադիմիր Հարոյանը (63 կգ), Սահակ Հովհաննիսյանը (72 կգ), Աշոտ Կիրակոսյանը (77 կգ), Ռաֆիկ Միխեևը (82 կգ), Վիգեն Նազարյանը (87 կգ), Սամվել Սարգսյանը (97 կգ), Ալբերտ Վարդանյանը (130 կգ):
