«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին նոր մանրամասներ են հայտնի դարձել Հայկ Մարության-ՔՊ հարաբերություններից։ Մասնավորապես, մեր տեղեկություններով՝ Երեւանի քաղաքապետ Հայկ Մարությանը «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցությունից դուրս գալու դիմում է ներկայացրել դեռ հունիսի 20-ին տեղի ունեցած արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններից առաջ։

Մարությանը այդ քայլին դիմել է այն բանից հետո, երբ վերջնականապես հաստատվել է, որ հունիսի 20-ին ընտրություններ են լինելու։ Նա այդ ժամանակ անձամբ է գնացել կուսակցության գրասենյակ եւ հրաժարվել կուսակցության անդամությունից, որն է’լ ավելի է բորբոքել իրավիճակը։
Այսինքն՝ այդ դիմումը դեռ ընտրություններից առաջ է գրվել, սակայն միայն այս պահին հրապարակային դարձավ տեղեկությունը։ Իշխանություններն ամեն կերպ ձգտում էին ընտրություններից առաջ ցույց տալ, թե Հայկ Մարությանի հետ տարաձայնություն չկա։

Դա է պատճառը, որ վարչապետի արդեն նախկին խորհրդական, ներկայումս աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Արայիկ Հարությունյանը Մարությանից դժգոհեց ընտրություններից հետո։
Այս ամենի արդյունքում իշխանությունը որոշել է վերընտրվելուց հետո ազատվել Հայկ Մարությանից, սակայն դեռ չի հաջողվում։ Հավելենք, որ Երեւան քաղաքը եղել է Փաշինյանի ձախողումը. այստեղ նա ստացել է ձայների 44 տոկոսը, իսկ մի քանի ընտրատեղամասում էլ՝ պարտվել ընդդիմադիր մրցակիցներին։
