Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի գլխավորած «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիրը» սարսափած է այն հեռանկարից, որ իրենց սպասվում է նոր խորհրդարանում, և հենց իշխանությունն է հանրային դաշտ նետել մանդատները վերցնել-չվերցնելու դիսկուրսի խայծը։ Ի տարբերություն «ուսապարկերի» զգալի մասի, ովքեր անհաղորդ են անցյալի պատմությանը, պարզապես չգիտեն, թե ով ով է, և կուսակցապետի հրահանգով կարող են ատամներով նետվել ցանկացածի վրա, Փաշինյանն ու նրա կողքին գտնվող որոշ անձինք հրաշալի գիտակցում են, թե ում հետ պիտի բանավիճեն խորհրդարանում։

Նույնիսկ աննշան բացառությամբ, չափազանց կոռեկտ և դասական քաղաքական պայքար տանող «Լուսավոր Հայաստանի» և «Բարգավաճ Հայաստանի» պատգամավորների դեմ «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցությունը չէր կարողանում փայլել, պարբերաբար անհեթեթ իրավիճակներում էին հայտնվում իշխանական պատգամավորները, խոսքին խոսքով պատասխանելու փոխարեն զոռ էին տալիս վիրավորանքներին, երբեմն էլ բռունցքներին։ Իսկ առավել արմատական և կոշտ տրամադրված, զգալի փորձ ունեցող ուժերի դեմ «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիրը» պարզապես մանկապարտեզի մսուր է հիշեցնելու։ Ուստի իշխանությունը փորձում է գոնե կանխել առանձին անհատների մուտքը խորհրդարան, որպեսզի մեղմի հնարավոր հետևանքները։ Սա մեկ անգամ ևս փաստում է ընդդիմության կողմից մանդատները աներկբա վերցնելու հրամայականը։

Հատկապես «Պատիվ ունեմ» դաշինքն այս քարոզարշավի ընթացքում աչքի է ընկել ոչ միայն կոշտ, այլև հստակ փաստարկված քննադատությամբ, և այդ քննադատությունը պետք է տեղափոխել խորհրդարանի ամբիոն, օգտագործել Ազգային ժողովը հարցերը բարձրացնելու, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ու նրա կողմնակիցների դեմքը պատռելու, ապօրինություններն ու անհեթեթությունները բացահայտելու համար։ Կարծում ենք, Արթուր Վանեցյանն ու դաշինքի մյուս թեկնածուները հստակ գիտակցում են այս անհրաժեշտությունը, հավուր պատշաճի են պատրաստվում առաջիկայում սպասվելիք «քաղաքական մարտերին», ու թեկուզ փոքր, բայց պատրաստված խմբակցությամբ կկարողանան օրակարգ թելադրել, փորձել շտկել երկրի ծանր իրավիճակը։
