LIFEWikiLeaks–ի հիմնադիր Ջուլիան Ասանժը պատրաստվում է բանտում ամուսնանալ իր հարսնացուի՝ Ստելլա Մորիսի հետ, այս մասին նա ասել է DPA-ին տված հարցազրույցում:
Մորիսը նշել է, որ ինքն ու Ասանժը նշանվել են 2016 թվականին: Հարսանիքի օրը դեռ որոշված չէ, քանի որ, ըստ նրա, իրենք անցնում են անհրաժեշտ բյուրոկրատական ընթացակարգեր: Նրանք պետք է թույլտվություն ստանան Բելմարշի բանտապետից, որտեղ գտնվում է Ասանժը, ինչպես նաև լուծեն Ավստրալիայի քաղաքացիություն ունեցող WikiLeaks-ի հիմնադրի ժամկետանց վիզայի հետ կապված խնդիրը: Բացի այդ, իրավիճակը սրվել է կորոնավիրուսային համաճարակի պատճառով:
Մորիսը փոխանցել է բանտի աշխատակիցների խոսքերը, ովքեր նշել են, որ Բելմարշում 12 տարվա աշխատանքի ընթացքում հարսանեկան արարողություն դեռ չի եղել: Ասանժի հարսնացուն հավելել է, որ եթե իրենք իսկապես ամուսնանան, ապա լրագրողին ազատ արձակելուց հետո, իրենք ընտանիքի և ընկերների հետ խնջույք են կազմակերպելու:
Ասանժի և Մորիսի հարաբերությունները սկսվել են այն ժամանակ, երբ նա թաքնվում էր Լոնդոնում Էկվադորի դեսպանատանը: Ներկայումս զույգն արդեն ունի երկու երեխա՝ երկու և չորս տարեկան որդիներ:
