Միացյալ Նահանգներում Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության դեսպանությունը հայտարարել է, որ ուկրաինա-ամերիկյան Sea Breeze զորավարժությունները մեծացնում են ոչ միտումնավոր միջադեպերի ռիսկը Սև ծովում, ուստի կարևոր է հրաժարվել դրանցից, հայտնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի» լրատվական գործակալությունը։

Զորավարժություններին, որոնք տեղի են ունենալու հունիսի 28-ից հուլիսի 10-ը, մասնակցելու են 5 հազար զինծառայող և 32 նավ` 32 երկրներից։

«Sea Breeze զորավարժությունների մասշտաբային և հստակ ագրեսիվ բնույթը ոչ մի կերպ չի համապատասխանում Սևծովյան տարածաշրջանի անվտանգության իրական խնդիրներին», - ասված է դիվանագիտական ծառայության թվիթերյան հայտարարության մեջ՝ շեշտելով, որ զորավարժությունները «խրախուսում են ռազմատենչ տրամադրությունները Կիևում»:

«Մենք ԱՄՆ-ին և նրա դաշնակիցներին հորդորում ենք հրաժարվել Սև ծովում ռազմական գործողությունների փորձից», - ասված է հայտարարության մեջ։

Ավելի վաղ ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի խոսնակ Մարիա Զախարովան նշել էր, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ն ուժեղացնում է իր ռազմական գործունեությունը Սև ծովում և ավելացնում զորավարժությունների քանակը Ուկրաինայի հետ, ինչը չի նպաստում Ուկրաինայի ներքին իրավիճակի կարգավորմանը։ Իր հերթին, ՌԴ ՊՆ պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Իգոր Կոնաշենկովը հայտնել է, որ զորավարժությունների քողի տակ ՆԱՏՕ-ն Ուկրաինային ժամանակակից զենք կմատակարարի, որը հետագայում կփոխանցվի Ուկրաինայի Զինված ուժերին և Դոնբասում գտնվող ազգայնականների գումարտակներին:
