Ժեստերի լեզվի փորձագետը վերլուծել է ՌԴ եւ ԱՄՆ նախագահներ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի եւ Ջո Բայդենի՝ Ժնեւում կայացած հանդիպումը:

BBC-ի հետ հարցազրույցում փորձագետ Մերի Չիվիելոն ասել է, որ չնայած հունիսի 16-ին կայացած հանդիպումը փակ էր հանրության համար, սակայն առաջնորդների միջեւ շփումը նախքան դեմ առ դեմ զրույցը «իրականում շատ բաների մասին է խոսում»:

Ըստ նրա՝ այս առաջնորդների միջեւ ուժերի բացահայտ անհավասարություն չկա, սակայն Պուտինը, կարծես, ավելի անհամբեր է, քան Բայդենը: Փորձագետը նշել է, որ գագաթնաժողովում նրանց առաջին ձեռքսեղմումը հավասարաչափ էր թվում իշխանության դինամիկայի տեսանկյունից՝ Բայդենը առաջինը մեկնեց ձեռքը, իսկ Պուտինը մոտեցավ նրան:

Չիվիելոն նաեւ ուշադրություն է դարձրել, երբ երկուսը հանդիպումից առաջ նստել են տեսախցիկների առջեւ:

Ամենից բացահայտը նրանց միջեւ տեսողական հաղորդակցության բացակայությունն էր:

Պուտինը արդեն ծանոթ անկաշկանդ կեցվածքն էր ընդունել բազկաթոռի վրա, մինչդեռ Բայդենը ժամանակ առ ժամանակ շրջվում էր դեպի Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարը. «կեցվածք, որը ցույց է տալիս խոսակցության համար բաց լինելը», - ասել է նա:

«Պուտինի ժեստերի լեզուն ասում է՝ «միեւնույնն է», - հավելել է նա: Փորձագետը նաեւ նկատել է, թե ինչպես է Պուտինը մատներով թխթխկացնում բազկաթոռի արմնկակալին՝ կարծես մտածելով էր այն մասին, թե «երբ է այս ամենն ավարտվելու»:

Հետադարձ հայացք գցելով Պուտինի փոխգործակցությանը ԱՄՆ-ի այլ ղեկավարների հետ, ինչպիսիք են Բիլ Քլինթոնը, Ջորջ Բուշը եւ Դոնալդ Թրամփը, Չիվիելոն ասել է, որ Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարը բավականին հետեւողական է եղել: «Սա մի տեսակ ազդանշան է՝ «մի սպասեք, որ այս հանդիպումը մեծ փոփոխություններ կբերի»»: 

Միեւնույն ժամանակ, Չիվիելլոն ասել է, որ Բայդենի կեցվածքը համահունչ էր նրան, ինչ ասել է հանդիպման ժամանակ իր քաղաքական դիրքորոշման վերաբերյալ. ոչ այնքան ակտիվ, սակայն պատրաստ համագործակցելու:
