Հունիսի 16-ն ամբողջ աշխարհում նշվում է որպես Ընտանեկան դրամական փոխանցումների միջազգային օր, որի նպատակն է ճանաչել ավելի քան 200 մլն միգրանտ աշխատողների նշանակալից ֆինանսական ներդրումն իրենց ընտանիքների շուրջ 800 մլն անդամների բարեկեցությունն ու իրենց հայրենիքի կայուն զարգացումն ապահովելու գործում:   Այս ֆինանսական հոսքերի կեսը բաժին է հասնում գյուղական բնակավայրերին, որոնց զարգացման համար տրանսֆերտներն ունեն առավելագույն կարևորություն: Այս մասին հայտնում են Հայաստանի բանկերի միությունից։

Միգրանտները զգալի ներդրում են ունենում այն երկրների տնտեսություններում, որտեղ նրանք աշխատում են (շուրջ 40) և այն երկրներում, որտեղ ապրում են նրանց ընտանիքի անդամները (շուրջ 125):

Համաշխարհային բանկի 2021թ.-ի մայիսի զեկույցում նշվում է, որ 2020թ.-ին տրանսֆերտները նվազել են ընդամենը 1,6%-ով՝ 2019թ.-ի 548 մլրդ դոլարից հասնելով 540 մլրդ դոլարի:

2020թ.-ին դրամական փոխանցումների ոլորտում բեկում մտցրեց թվային տեխնոլոգիաների արագ ներդրումն ու դրանց մասսայական կիրառումը  աշխատանքային միգրանտների և նրանց ընտանիքների կողմից: Համավարակով պայմանավորված սահմանափակումների պայմաններում բջջային և առցանց փոխանցումները նպաստեցին փոխանցումների հոսքերի ավելացմանը. 2020 թ.-ի ընթացքում աճել են 65%-ով և հասել 12,7 մլրդ ԱՄՆ դոլարի (GSMA, 2021):

Այս տենդենցից անմասն չմնաց նաև Հայաստանը, որտեղ թեև համավարակով ու պատերազմական գործողություններով պայմանավորված 2020թ. վերջի տվյալներով 2019թ. համեմատ գրանցվեց արտասահմանից ստացումների և փոխանցումների ծավալի նվազման միտում, սակայն արդեն ընթացիկ տարվա հունվար-ապրիլ ամիսներին այս ցուցանիշների մասով գրանցվեց աճ:

Մասնավորապես՝ 31.04.2021-ի դրությամբ արտասահմանից ստացումների ծավալը 31.04.2020թ-ի համեմատ ավելացել է շուրջ 129 մլն դոլարով կամ 29.1%-ով՝ կազմելով 573 մլն դոլար: Արտասահման փոխանցումների ծավալն ավելացել է շուրջ 39 մլն դոլարով կամ 11.8%-ով՝ կազմելով 370 մլն դոլար: Ընթացիկ տարվա ապրիլ ամսվա դրությամբ ֆիզ. անձանց փոխանցումների (զուտ ներհոսքի) ծավալը նախորդ տարվա նույն ժամանակահատվածի համեմատ ավելացել է շուրջ 90 մլն դոլարով կամ 79.6%-ով՝ կազմելով 203 մլն դոլար:

Ընտանեկան դրամական փոխանցումների միջազգային օրը ՄԱԿ–ի Ընդհանուր վեհաժողովը հռչակել է իր 2015 թ. A / RES / 71/237 բանաձևով:
