Վրաստանի վարչապետ Իրակլի Ղարիբաշվիլին իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում անդրադարձել է իր միջնորդությամբ 15 հայ գերիների վերադարձին և  Աղդամի ականապատ տարածքների քարտեզների` Ադրբեջանին փոխանցվելուն:

«Ես ուրախ եմ, որ իմ ակտիվ օժանդակությամբ և մեր ռազմավարական գործընկեր ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի օգնականի տեղակալ Ֆիլիպ Ռիկերի ներգրավմամբ՝ ադրբեջանական կողմը ազատ արձակեց հակամարտության ընթացքում ձերբակալված 15 ՀՀ քաղաքու և նրանց Վրաստանի տարածքով վերադարձրեց իրենց ընտանիքներին:

Մեր ակտիվ ներգրավվածությունը հնարավորություն տվեց նաև, որ հայկական կողմը ականապատված տարածքների վերաբերյալ կարևոր նյութեր հանձնի ադրբեջանական կողմին:

Անձամբ ես անընդհատ կապի մեջ էի Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի և Հայաստանի ներկայիս վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հետ:

Հատկանշական է, որ մեր ռազմավարական գործընկերոջ` ԱՄՆ-ի ակտիվ մասնակցությամբ և գործընթացում մեր զգալի ներգրավմամբ, հատուկ քայլ է կատարվել Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանում անվտանգության միջավայրի բարելավման ուղղությամբ:

Ես ողջունում եմ մեր հարևան պետությունների այս որոշումը, որը պետք է հիմքեր ստեղծի տարածաշրջանում լարվածությունը թուլացնելու և երկարաժամկետ հեռանկարում համագործակցության մթնոլորտ ստեղծելու համար:

Մենք պատրաստ ենք ապագայում, անհրաժեշտության դեպքում և հնարավորության սահմաններում օգնելու մեր գործընկերներին և ակտիվորեն ներգրավվել գործընթացներում, առաջին հերթին՝ մարդասիրական խնդիրների լուծման գործում»,– ասվում է գրառման մեջ:
