Կոնստանտին Օրբելյանը նշանակվել է Նյու Յորքի քաղաքային օպերայի երաժշտական տնօրեն և դիրիժոր

Օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնի տնօրեն և գեղարվեստական ղեկավար Կոնստանտին Օրբելյանը նշանակվել է Նյու Յորքի քաղաքային օպերայի երաժշտական տնօրեն և դիրիժոր: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ, այս մասին հայտնում է Նյու Յորքի օպերայի պաշտոնական կայքը:

Մաեստրո Օրբելյանի մասնակցությամբ առաջին օպերան՝ նոր շունչ ստացած «Ռիգոլետտո»-ն կցուցադրվի օգոստոսի 29-ին:

«Շատ ուրախ ենք՝ ողջունելու աշխարհահռչակ մաեստրո Կոնստանտին Օրբելյանին Նյու Յորքի քաղաքային օպերայի ընտանիք: Նա իր հետ բերում է դիրիժորության իր տասնամյակների փորձառությունը և ապագայում մեզ ու մեր հանդիսատեսին կառաջարկի շատ բարձր մակարդակի ներկայացումներ»,- նշել է օպերայի տնօրեն Մայքլ Կապասոն՝ համոզմունք հայտնելով, որ հայ մաեստրոն իր դերակատարումը կունենա Նյու Յորքի օպերան ամերիկյան ու միջազգային օպերային արվեստում նոր բարձունքների հասցնելու գործում:

Օրբելյանն ընդգծել է, որ սիրով է համաձայնել նշանակվել Նյու Յորքի օպերայի երաժշտական տնօրենի ու դիրիժորի պաշտոնում:

«Սա լավ հնարավորություն է՝ օգնելու այս պատմական ու մշակութային տեսանկյունից կարևոր երաժշտական հաստատությունը վերադառնալ կյանք՝ կորոնավիրուսի մարտահրավերներով լի ժամանակներից հետո:

Մենք հնարավորություն կընձեռենք օպերայի սիրահարներին լսել ԱՄՆ և ողջ աշխարհի ամենալավ երգիչներին:

Հավատարիմ մնալով Նյու Յորքի քաղաքային օպերայի ավանդույթներին, մենք ժամանակակից կոմպոզիտորներին կտրամադրենք հարթակ, որտեղ նրանք կներկայացնեն իրենց աշխատանքները»,- ասել է Օրբելյանը:
